This is common on satellite TV systems during heavy storm/rain. But a sat TV like DirectTV/DISH network has a single sat to cover large areas. So if one dense cloud blocks that one sat, you get nothing. Whereas Starlink uses a network meaning you have multiple targets to communicate with.
