Caved in and finished this full 2.5-minute short film using Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Preview. 🎥 The inspiration for this is deeply personal. When I was a teenager, my grandma fell into a coma before passing. I used to wonder what she was dreaming about, and thought it would be beautiful if she was just reliving her best moments. Also fun fact: I actually made this exact same short in Unreal Engine 5 with talented folks I met online using mocap. AI is convenient, but performance-wise? I still prefer humans because they can pull from real life experiences to deliver lines with that genuine emotional depth. But if hiring actors isn't viable, Grok 1.5 is a wild tool.
