I ran 12 miles through the backroads of Franklin, Tennessee early this morning. I think this may be on my list of best places to live. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful, open spaces. Quiet, but near a fun, lively city. Proximity to a major airport. Nice weather but still some seasons.

At the most recent Regional Planning Commission Meeting, representatives for parties seeking to develop the former Monsanto chemical plant site made a presentation on a plan to build more than 1,300 homes there;
I made a prediction on what I believe we will see in a future pivot of those plans.
But regardless, the fact that this is even an issue being seriously considered is, in my opinion, an indictment on every party who is seeking to capitalize from it.
