Tom Steyer spoke about the symbol on his arm in an interview with the now defunct BuzzFeed News back in 2019: “It means to tell the truth no matter what the cost is. For a while now, I have drawn it on my hand every day to remind myself to always tell the truth. I later discovered that it has traditionally been known as a Jerusalem cross.”

I was a student at UC Davis and required to read the university chosen Community Book Project in freshman English. They selected Redefining Realness by J. Mock. Most students bought into the fantasy that people and children can be born in the wrong bodies. Why do they have to shove their ideology down our throats?

Young, liberal women at college campuses across the U.S. have been duped or brainwashed to believe in the tran$ agenda. Two years ago, I asked a group of girls along the UC Davis Picnic Day parade route a couple questions about “top surgery” for teen girls and got similar responses. They start by eagerly supporting it, then one expresses a concern, then a third woman realizes they’ve been exposed and asks me to leave. How do we wake them up?

The danger zone we are approaching is that application of the Madman Theory can only be used so many times before you have to follow through. Otherwise, it becomes a liability, as your opponent knows your bluffing.

A 17-year-old student was shot and killed at Natomas High School on campus. Read those words out loud and understand there are still voices out there pushing to keep law enforcement off school campuses. And we know who they are. At this point, it’s not a difference of opinion, it’s a refusal to deal with reality. We can have all the conversations we want about policy, philosophy, and perception. But none of that matters when masked men enter a “secure” campus and a student is killed. We send our kids to school for 6 to 7 hours a day with the expectation that they are learning, working hard, and striving to build a better future. The last thing any parent should have to worry about is whether their child is safe at school. This is why School Resource Officers matter. Our partnership with Elk Grove Unified School District shows what works. It is a long-standing, proven model built on trust and coordination. We have continued to build on that and recently added a School Resource Officer at Antelope High School, bringing enhanced safety and immediate response capability to that campus. These Deputies are not stationary security guards fixed at posts; they build relationships with students, staff, parents, and the entire school community. They become part of the fabric of that school, and safety organically becomes part of it. Opposing School Resource Officers might sound good in a school board meeting or on social media, but it does not hold up when real-world violence shows up at a school’s doorstep. Whether we are talking about human trafficking, ICAC operations, or preventing the early release of sexually violent predators, our society’s number one goal has to be protecting the most vulnerable.
