Diesel hit £123 to fill up near us this week. Our Tesla Model 3 cost less than £3 to charge overnight. That’s a 20x difference in cost per mile and it’s the reason we made the switch from our 2022 Land Rover Discovery Sport. In today’s video I break down the numbers for us and what could be coming next. If your petrol or diesel deal is ending soon watch this first. £123 to Fill Up a Diesel. That’s When We Made the Switch. youtu.be/oiZjZU5SWo4

How far will €10 get you in an #ICE 🆚 #BEV at today's prices in #Denmark? I've added an extra bar (tax-free) to show how little of a difference it would make if taxes were totally removed from #petrol and #diesel ⛽️ Home charging ⚡️ still makes #ICE look bad and inefficient.

Paying £750 a month for a diesel Range Rover doesn’t make all diesels expensive. The same applies to EVs. Looking at the whole life cost of a diesel vs EV, with fuel and maintenance costs astronomically cheaper, an EV wins. A higher list price or monthly payment, doesn’t make an EV more expensive.

@TeslaFamilyYT That cold weather lowered your range has it? Having the heating on also impacted it. Don’t get that problem with ICE vehicles

It’s amazing how the NHS is still struggling with that extra £350,000,000 a week it gets since Brexit

@TeslaFamilyYT People like to brag about the cost of home charging but the cost per mile for public charging is significantly higher and often comparable to petrol. With the added inconvenience of taking an hour or more to charge.

The right wing press are worried their crippling Brexit con is over. Out come the stories of cost, when in truth rejoining the EU will make us billions of £££ a year. Time right now to rejoin the EU and ditch Brexit for good. Who is with me? Let’s go!

The new BMW iX3 gives you almost 500 miles range and 0-60 in 6 seconds. We've now reached the age where electric cars have longer range than petrol. How long are you going to suffer £1.70 a litre, when an overnight charge, and 500 miles will cost you £7?

@fm5782 Yes but it's very low around 2p per mile which would be £160 on 8000 miles per year. So it's more like the price of a tax disc. They will have to keep electric vehicles cheap for at least another decade to drive change away from fossil fuels.
