Introducing Zag AI review agents for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS developers. Zag runs agents in real Apple developer environments with Apple Silicon, Xcode, simulators, and your complete toolchain. Describe agents in TypeScript or Swift that do code review, QA, security, or App Store compliance, and run them on every PR.

Yesterday was Alumni Day at @ycombinator, so we were extra excited to demo. We’d just closed Coca-Cola as a customer, finished their first AI ad, and were hoping to use the moment to build a little credibility with alumni companies in the room (read: potential customers). Then on stage… in 30 seconds… we tried every possible way to play a video on macOS. Turns out it wasn’t us - it was the AV setup. The next team (also video) hit the same snag. Honestly, I think it worked? People remembered us - and a bunch came up afterward to talk about AI video ads. Video is the highest-converting ad creative. It’s also the absolute hardest to get right. You can come talk to us too - here in the dms. Thanks @t_blom

I swear we’re gonna get AGI before reliable A/V setup

the last time i celebrated diwali with my family was 3 years ago. before then, i didn’t care much for the holiday. today, i wore a kurti and jhumkas outside on campus because i care so much. i was born and raised in brampton, ontario, canada. nearly any indian person knows about brampton because of the internet memes and its incredibly dense punjabi population. i grew up surrounded by my culture. so, i also took its access for granted. diwali is a clear checkpoint for me every year as i cling tighter to my culture and define the pride i reap from my roots. it’s like a progressive overload of appreciation as the distance (in both kilometres and time) stretches further. in the gym, progressive overload is about adding just enough resistance to grow stronger. every diwali away from home feels like that: a little more emotional weight and a little more intentional effort to connect. what once followed me everywhere naturally now takes conscious practice. i’m repeatedly reminded that the heart grows fonder with distance, and my cultural ties aren’t something i’m willing to let fray. light a sparkler and eat some sweets today. i hope light and love pave the life ahead of you. happy diwali. 🪔

Today I learned that the electric toothbrush was invented for those with limited motor skills. It’s cool to see how many things were born from accessibility and how some of these products are things I can’t live without

@esha_hq Maybe to fix it we just have to start with having the confidence to tell our friends that we don’t want to hang out because we’re tired instead of trying to come up with fake work that needs to be completed

@esha_hq We used to just knock on our friends’ doors to hangout and if they werent available they would tell us exactly why and no one cared. Now with phones I feel like were always trying to come up with “the perfect (lie) excuse” it’s a small aspect but all of these small things add up

we are in a trust recession. 1972: half of americans believed most people can be trusted. 2018: it fell to 1/3 of americans. i wonder what it is exactly today. what do we do to fix it?
