My wife and I were talking about this yesterday. Patriotism requires one's country making you proud to be a part of it. I used to have that in Canada. Then, right as Trudeau was getting into power - thankfully - we moved down to TX. However, circumstances required us moving back to up to Canada recently. I now consider myself a patriotic American without a citizenship!
