Yes, the U-turn was illegal — he used the emergency cross-over, and with a trailer halfway across, two lanes were blocked while he waited for oncoming traffic to clear. On a highway with a 65 mph speed limit, there is no way to make that move without slowing down. That’s exactly why we need the full investigation and full video, not just a few seconds of clips. If the driver recklessly pulled out, punish him to the maximum. If he stopped and cautiously waited, then the van that hit his trailer also carried responsibility for safe driving and keeping distance. Accountability should be based on facts, not assumptions. But here’s the bigger point: this is not an immigration issue. Immigration, illegals, Punjabis, Sikhs, turbans — none of that is at fault for this accident. One driver’s mistake cannot be used to attack an entire community. 99% of us are hardworking, law-abiding, and deeply upset by this tragedy. The hate and backlash we are facing today is worse than what many of us felt after 9/11, and it is unfair. If you truly want to blame immigration, then blame the government and leaders who failed to properly manage and vet immigration for decades. They left borders open, divided communities, and turned us against each other while avoiding accountability. America today is not the America I came to 25 years ago legally — we are being divided and ruled, blaming one another instead of those who created the problem. If the concern is safety and training, then let’s push for real reforms: require at least one year of regular car license before CDL, plus a year of team driving with a mentor of 5+ years. That would prevent inexperienced drivers from being put in impossible situations. We are not defending the driver. We are defending our community against hate. Punish the individual if the investigation proves him guilty — but stop blaming an entire community, an entire faith, or immigration itself. That only spreads hate and blinds us to the real issues: road safety, policy reform, and leadership accountability.

The alleged semi-truck driver who killed three people while making a U-turn at an “Official Use Only” turn on the Florida Turnpike is an ILLEGAL MIGRANT who was granted a commercial driver’s license by the State of California.

Bedtime thoughts. First, I have to say, I love America and most things President @realDonaldTrump has done so far... But man DJT .. get off this #RosieODonnell trip you're on. 1. A person who is born inside the USA can not just "have their citizenship revoked" [Rosie was born in New York]... unless... .... A. They have been tried and convicted of Treason. .... B. Gained citizenship via fraud. .... C. Serving in a foreign country's military that is at war with the United States. .... D. The citizen chooses to denounce their citizenship themselves. 2. Rosie is working on becoming a citizen of Ireland, and both Ireland and the Unites States support having dual citizenships with each other. So that can not be a reason to revoke either. You, President #Trump, do not have the power to nor do you have the right to revoke anyones citizenship just because you don't like them or what they choose to say in the media. So, let's please use your platform to stick to things YOU CAN DO. It makes it much easier to have arguments with liberals when you do. Just as Ellen DeGeneres pointed out, sometimes it's best to be a #ROSIE and not a #DONALD. .
