@CerosTV I would rather die pressing blue than survive pressing red, and I would hope that most of humanity would be conscientious enough to feel the same. What's the point in living in a world where the only people alive voted to kill potentially 49% of the population to save themselves?

@notthefakeSVP @SethDavisHoops I mean if you left espn to get a better contract at CBS, that's your right. You and your peers have unlimited free agency in that manner. You also dont have a salary cap on your broadcasting services. Just like these players do in their jobs.

This is a MAJOR development. We knew that the FBI wouldn’t have interviewed a witness four times if they found her not to be credible, but to have confirmation from a DOJ source that the FBI found Trump’s accuser credible is a whole other thing. IT IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL THAT TRUMP DECLARED WAR RIGHT BEFORE THIS RELEASE.

This gets said every week (and its always correct btw). Just this statement which will be forgotten in 2 hours would've sunk any other president in US History and their entire party for ~2 decades minimum. No exagerration at all. It would be quoted daily for eternity in US media. You would learn about in high school US history class. And this doesn't make top 100 worst actions / statements this week.

The idea is good but the text itself was rushed and not thought through. It violated a lot of standard practices to protect survivors and due process: 1. It also released documents related to allegations found to be false or unsubstantiated, not just verified violations or settlements. So innocent people would get lumped in with violators. 2. To our knowledge, there was zero victim consent or consultation on this text. That is very different than with Epstein, where victims are centered and consulted at every step. Here, victims offered all their statements with the promise of protection and anonymity. The text gave them no way to have a voice in what information of theirs or their accounts they wanted public or keep private. That is important because… 3. Although there was a throwaway line about redacting victim names, I do believe full witness or victim statements would have been released. With the way employment at the House works (offices are small, time periods of staff employment are publicly disclosed, etc) it means that even with names redacted you can definitely track details in witness statements and use that to ID victims without their consent. And there was zero mechanism for victims themselves to assert their privacy. Originally we were supposed to debate the details of the text over two days but for some reason they rushed the vote so we couldn’t iron out any of these details to get this information properly disclosed in a way that guarantees victim safety. If the text was clean I think you’d get a lot more support. As a survivor, I know why the vast majority of women never report at all and a lot of those reasons, even if unintentionally or inadvertently, were included here. For me at least, guaranteeing the safety and agency of victims and survivors would get me to a YES.

holy shit... Bill Gates just admitted to something, that sounds A LOT like trafficking if you know how Epstein operated: * Gates admits he had affairs with two "Russian Women" * Claims Epstein "later found out about the affairs" * Epstein later paid for one of the women's education...and asked Gates to reimburse him... * Epstein is known to have trafficked from Eastern Europe. * Epstein paid for tuition of "his models", as about 35% of it was tax deductible as a business expense. * If he paid $100k, deducted expenses, and had someone reimburse $100k, he netted about $35k on that transaction. * Tuition payments are a common money laundering method due to their scale too, and they seem philanthropic, so they are rarely scrutinized. * "Paying down tuition debt" was also the exact arrangement between Epstein and Prince Andrew... * We know earlier indictments also named Eastern European operators with known Kremlin ties, during a time that Russia used trafficked women as honeypots for kompromat on US business men. The fact that both of the women just happened to be Russian, and that Epstein is asking for a reimbursement payment for tuition.... Does NOT look good. He should be questioned under oath before Congress.

This is a joke. How bad is the state of the NBA right now…??? The Clippers ACTUALLY (and blatantly) cheated. Far worse than a team has in the recent past. And they’re getting off totally free….????? Adam Silver is a joke. Obviously compromised and paid for. The NBA is a mess.
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral

Any punishment from the Aspiration scandal is expected to center on Kawhi Leonard’s contract, with insiders believing the Clippers will avoid major discipline, per @timkawakami “A lot of rumors of the Clippers thing about to come down. I heard it’s gonna be Kawhi-centric…The rumors I’ve heard is that it’s gonna be less about the Clippers and more about what’s gonna happen to Kawhi’s contract.” (h/t @APH00PS )

🚨 It takes a lot to be a "holy shit" moment in 2026. But on the same day as Trump's State of the Union, @NPR caught @TheJusticeDept illegally hiding Epstein records alleging that @POTUS "sexually abused a minor."

@fawfulfan But Talarico looks like he can be bought. Whatever policies he represents, if he's a follower than a leader, it's meaningless. Not the type of leader who would be independent of political consultant' views It's a warrior like Jasmine Crockett who attracts millions of new voters

The reason people are worried Jasmine Crockett may not be electable is because she has next to no voter outreach, no canvassing operation, and her policy platform is an afterthought. Texas Dems have, in fact, tried running candidates like that. Many times. And they lost badly.
Javan Gonzalez@JavanGonzalez

Is Jasmine Crockett Electable? The honest answer is: we don’t know — because Texas has never tried. A Black woman has never been at the top of the ticket in a U.S. Senate race in Texas. That campaign has never been tested here.

The sexual assault crimes are awful, and people need to be held accountable. BUT a lot of folks are missing this whole angle. Scott Bessent, a friend of the Trump family for 30 years, refuses to give over the financial records of Epstein showing where money was coming and going, who was funding the operation and trafficking, and what global elites may have been involved. Wyden has been tirelessly working to force Bessent's hand, but Bessent has absolutely refused to show Congress any SAR's (Suspicious Activity Reports) including nearly 5,000 missing wire transfers that would certainly implicate many co-conspirators of Epstein's. This is the important part. CALL YOUR SENATORS and tell them you support the Senate Finance Committee's Produce Epstein Treasury Records Act (S.2746) to force Bessent's hand. If we really want to see who across the globe has been sexually assaulting children AND meddling in global affairs, then this is one of the most obvious ways forward.
Bridgett Fertig@LightOnLiberty

Senator Ron Wyden, the Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee, said details from his office's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's finances shows a MASSIVE Treasury Department file locked away in a cabinet drawer, containing records of 4,725 wire transfers totaling nearly $1.1 BILLION flowing in and out of just ONE of Epstein's MANY bank accounts. Senator Wyden stated HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS more dollars flowed freely through other accounts stating if we "FOLLOW THE MONEY" we'd surely get leads as to who was directly involved in helping Epstein traffic all these children.

BREAKING: The DOJ deleted this Epstein file showing that they provided Ghislaine Maxwell with notes from 3 FBI interviews of a woman who claimed Trump sexually assaulted her at age 15. Why the hell did they remove this file after releasing it and why aren’t we seeing the actual notes that this file says exists?
