I love watching raw police body cam footage because it is the only media that feels authentic. when someone is being performative or funny or sexy or rude or compelling, they are doing so because that’s how they are, not in an effort to seduce the viewer into engaging w/ content.

@0ddette Yep. Waxahachie had about 20k people at that point, so even the initial influx was noticeable. My folks still go to mass with one of the lower level engineers who stayed and raised his family. Poor guy developed a pretty bad drinking problem after the shutdown.
