Some news! This week I joined @snyksec as Product Director for Snyk Container. Feels so good to be back in R&D but OMG I’ve got a lot to learn! Wish me luck!

@jkakar Many things are possible, some are harder. See rock bands 🥁, chamber music, and even conductorless orchestras. Fun! Easier & stabler if team is small, org is small, and the team has multiple awesome 🦄 folks like you with expertise that span more typical discipline boundaries?

If you have a high functioning team where everyone is engaged, highly autonomous, decision making is effective, misalignments are addressed quickly, the team ships prolifically, and the software they produce works well… does this team need a manager?

I admire Snyk’s leadership for many reasons. Addressing this thoughtfully is one of them.
