LO ÚLTIMO: Los cuatro astronautas de Artemis II llevarán 58 tortillas como parte de su menú oficial durante el viaje de diez días alrededor de la Luna. La NASA las incluyó porque, a diferencia del pan, no generan migas en ingravidez, evitando que partículas flotantes interfieran con los sistemas de la nave Orion. El menú cuenta con 189 alimentos y bebidas, entre ellos quiche de vegetales, brisket de res, macarrones con queso, smoothies y distintas salsas picantes, todos diseñados para consumirse sin refrigeración. Las tortillas forman parte de la tradición espacial desde hace décadas y su uso se popularizó cuando el astronauta mexicano Rodolfo Neri Vela las llevó por primera vez al espacio, demostrando su practicidad en microgravedad.
