I absolutely believe Murrell case raises big Qs of Sturgeon. However - any criminal defence solicitor worth their salt will advise a client to say ‘no comment’ when with police. It may well be what organised criminals do - it just means they’ve access to legal advice. It has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the guilt or otherwise of person being interviewed. If you’ve the misfortune to be arrested by police and are subsequently advised to say anything beyond ‘no comment’ it means your lawyer is a pretendy one.
