While things are looking good I thought I should take some photos!
Needs some rain and no frost to finish but could be one of our better years. on a slightly wetter year everything is a little short on N(range from 35-65N)
Photos;combat, sceptre, bolt/thunder and griffon canola
RnD is vital for the Australian conditions. We have carried out an extensive RnD program alongside @Geringhoff here in Aus over the past couple of seasons to ensure the Geringhoff fronts exceed the expectations of our growers and customers.
@Scottymorgs1082 Similar story here. Only thing that kind of worked was citronella.
Kids can’t swim and it seems once bees are use to the pool it’s hard work getting them to drink somewhere else.
Fipronil is only option left.
@ashtongray01@cbh Cbh ran a trial a few years ago on barley optimisation. They only did it at a couple of sites but I remember pithara was one of them as it was a barley only site. I forget why but they dropped it pretty quick.
Barley Optimization, HAS to be a better system. Heavily cropped (low Protien/high retention) and barley grown on pasture (high Protien/low retention). Separately going feed, together would go MALT. Time @CBH bring in grower averaging where you can opt to run your own average.
@bentags LSW are no good. We are having to source tyres for our SP sprayer out of America. The local dealer and head office cant get tyres either. Rang nearly every tyre shop I know of
Does anyone, preferably in WA, have a source for one of these tyres? I'm hearing that supply is..... not great.
This is a Goodyear Optitrac, not sure about other options.

@Mistadamage@ipaddockapps@WAFarmers Not a fan at all. Western power got bogged in one of our recently deep ripped paddocks last year several times. No phone call before entering property or after damage was done. We found out the day we tried to seed paddock. We had to stop the seeder to fix up the mess.
Whats people's thoughts on managing biosecurity with a Western Power grid through the farm? I know these trucks weren't decontaminated since driving through other farms. I can see snails especially taking off from these tracks. Is there a legal right to biosecurity?@WAFarmers
