Even after he sent Jesus is the world not still perpetuating evil? Did they not kill Jesus in the most excruciating fashion? Your problem is not that He wiped out the world—your problem is that you are your own SI Unit for right & wrong, & how dare God go against your standards. At least read a Bible and understand it before asking questions the same Bible answers, thus putting on a pedestal your ignorance about the very subject you are so vocal on.
Kelvin O johnson@_OKJ__

Till today, no Christian has been able to answer this question. If Yahweh, the Bible deity, isn’t just a genocidal maniac, why didn’t he send Jesus earlier rather than drown the whole planet, killing women, men, children, babies, pregnant women, and animals in the process…especially when the flood literally didn’t achieve anything, as the world wasn’t actually cleansed and went back to default pretty quickly? People who believe the stories in the Bible baffle me.

I've built what you all know as Rainbow Trent LTD for over 15 years now. It all started as a clueless move to become a model trainer - so I founded Rainbow Models with my friend Damilare Orosusuyi popularly called 'oros' back in university, then 'UNAD' now called EKSU. We put together a pageant called Miss Modesty Nigeria, the sole aim was to rival Ben Murray Bruce's, Miss Nigeria Pageant and every other pageant out there and become the only pageant that doesn't promote nudity in the name of Bikini - I never thought bikini was wrong, I just didn't like the idea of it being displayed brazenly on national TV. We held 2 editions of this pageant in Ekiti state, got a Globacom sponsorship for the second one - Glo provided free SIM card for everyone who bought a ticket and registered it on the spot in the front of ETF, called 'Ile eye' (bird house). The second one was massive, we sold out the entire 1,500 seater and people didn't even have where to seat. We had the then Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adeoluwa and his beautiful wife grace the occasion. At the time they used to talk about Enioluwa (yes, the one you know) but I didn't even think much of it back then, they supported us because we were doing similar things. Mrs Adeoluwa even gave the top 3 contestants gifts from her boutique in Ekiti State. This post is me setting the record straight that I've been around for a while, and even though I'm yet to reach the level I want to be, I will keep working towards the goal. I will tell you how we then went into Magazine Publication later on in future posts.

I started doing Bolt in 2020/21 to support my 9-5 income coz my wife didn't have a job at the time and i asked her not to apply yet until after childbirth. One night in ikeja, I had a request to pick someone at Fela shrine to ogunnaike Street, road was free. When I dropped her at the venue she paid me and I was waiting for another ride but didn't see quickly. Thus lady called if I hadn't left that I should wait, she will do offline trip I refused that she should order a ride and since I'm close I will pick the ride immediately - she did. When we got back to shrine, she said I should come to the back seat, she had changed into a shorter skirt when she first dropped. Back seat for what? Madam pay my money make I dey go, she said she wanted to pay in kind that she was clean. I told her to come down and go she should leave the money. I ended the trip and reported to Bolt, they paid me immediately by crediting my app balance, but I was already owing commission, so it was deducted. In my head I'm like, shey na knacks I go use buy food for house and pay my bills. I stopped not long after because my wife didn't like that I was getting home late.

And this is exactly my problem with the principles guiding the decision-making of many Nigerians. ------------------------ Nigerians (as investors): don't build house for rent because the rental yields are low (even though that is the standard). Same Nigerians (as customers): arh! Rental prices are too ridiculous jare. What do you mean ₦1mm for self-con. ------------------------ Nigerians (as investors): what do you mean I am going to earn 20% per annum on my investment? That's too low jeez! Me I can not wait for one year to earn 20% o. Same Nigerians (as borrowers): 35% interest rate on loans??? How??? Do you want businesses to die??? How can businesses generate that kind of profit in our inflationary environment?? ------------------------ Nigerians (as employees): there is no reason why graduates should earn below ₦300k salary. Nigerians (as entrepreneurs): nah, there is no reason why we should pay more than ₦200k for an entry-level job. What value are they adding yet? Anyone who wants more than that has to demonstrate capacity and potential. ******************* This is not even about selfish interest. It is normal for that to happen, but you have to know that the principles have to be consistent. Maybe the way we think about things could change if we understood that most of these variables don't move in isolation. They are connected.
Habu Sadeik@HabuSadeik

That's partly another reason why we are facing crazy rental prices. Many landlords investment psychology changed from store of value to achieving a return of investment from building a house. Every investors now want a quick return of his investment irrespective of the kind of asset class he is investing on. We are in trouble 😭

I just finished watching a two part documentary about Lebanon on YouTube just minutes ago. I am not speaking against radical Islam enough on X, I need to do more! See eh, all the rubbish of “the terrorists are not Muslims, Islam is a religion of peace, there is no plan to enforce sharia on non Muslims…..”, they are all lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! The history of these countries are available to read or watch online, educate yourself and do not let anyone gaslight you! Nigeria, you are delivered from those that seek to destroy you! They shall fail!

In Iran, the Muslims used the Left as a trojan horse to take power. Then, when they took power, they killed them. That was 47 years ago. They did the same in Lebanon and Egypt. They are using the same method now, especially with the Greens.

When I used to write for Tinsel, we were lodged in a hotel, fed, paid per diems, paid at the end of the writer’s room etc. 10+ writers. All require funds. Screenwriters are working day jobs & writing at night to earn 100-300k & you want them to compete globally, how?

@kenkenlewu That’s courageous. What you did has too much dignity and integrity. You saved yourself & family from total and usuless disrespect. If you had proceeded with that wedding, your eye will see Shege. Everyday, you will be telling yourself (I’m an Ode).

I called off my wedding in 2022 because of my then mother-in-law. My ex was practically her only child (the other one didn't really care and had been away for years), and this my ex always tell his mum absolutely everything about us. There was nothing she didn't know. Before our introduction, this woman would constantly make snide remarks about my family: "You people don't have money like us o. See the car your dad is using, he needs to change it before the wedding because our guests are high-caliber people." (For context, both my ex's parents are judges, while my dad is an academic doctor and my mum is late, was also an academic doctor) Then came the final straw. They fixed the introduction date, and this woman said my family and I would need to come to their side for the introduction and that they would "pay family money" for us to do so. Honestly I was so angry with that statement. I ended everything right there and then. Four years later, a 40-year-old man is still not married...

May 2016, I rented an apartment and didn’t go back until November. By the time I finally decided to move in, I had completely forgotten where the house was. Spent a good amount of time convincing the agent I wasn’t mad before he finally resent my own address.
