Not to be a downer, but having a hard time seeing this as ever being successful

Salahdins Parnasse’s manager was at UFC HQ earlier today. His asking price is very high but I’d imagine that MVP wouldn’t attempt to outbid the UFC on this one.

I've generally been the "We're going to attack Iran" guy the past year, whenever people were debating the possibility. Now, a friend notes: Gabbard out, Trump not going to son's wedding, Trump canceling weekend golf trip suggests we're going to attack. This time I predict: no attack and no deal. Can't get a (comprehensive JCPOA-style deal) because of political constraints. Can't attack because of munitions constraints and Iran's intact retaliatory capabilities. Agree?

A great day kickstarting @ScottCoker’s new venture. Proud to partner with him on this exciting launch. The global mma market is hungry & wide open. Our aim is to fill it from a foundation rooted in martial arts tradition with respect and integrity. To be additive. To uplift. 🙏

Iran first reached the 60% enrichment level way back in 2021. It did so during negotiations with the Biden administration as leverage that could be traded away for bigger concessions. Pape evidently doesn’t understand Iran’s nuclear doctrine or conception of state power.

MJF stood on business against Ariel Helwani’s bitch ass #MMAHour

It was starting to look like we were heading toward a landscape where the UFC was basically the only major player in MMA. Now, with the reemergence of Scott Coker, MVP’s commitment to MMA, and the PFL restructuring, we’re suddenly looking at a 2027 where there may be four major U.S. players in the sport. To me, that’s great news for fighters, managers, and coaches. Competition raises the bar for everyone, and I’m not saying any of these promotions should try to compete directly with the UFC. That would be foolish. But having more places for fighters to negotiate with is a net positive for the sport.
