It's not your conventional twin birthday, but it's kinda working 🤪 Today, our twins, Rocky and Jupiter, turn two years old 🥳 We woke up in Praia, Cabo Verde. The plan was to go to a nice restaurant, get some good old traditional British (or as close as we could get) cake. What actually happened? The supermarket didn't have cake, of course it didn't. The supermarket did have birthday candles though?! 🤯 They don't sell nappies for the twins, but that's a whole different story. The restaurant we wanted was weirdly closed (probably a bit posh for us anyway). So we settled on a burger joint near the beach with a cool breeze and as you can see (feel free to zoom in closer) we stuck two '2' candles in each burger (funny not funny 🤣). Anyway, we're celebrating their birthdays our way, united as a family. I think we've heard it so many times from people when they say, 'These years go by so quickly, make the most of them,' and truly we couldn't live by that more right now if we tried. Happy Birthday, Rocky and Jupiter! 🎂 Hopefully, one day you'll read this and though you may not remember it, I hope you have a deep-rooted feeling of always enjoying your birthdays, no matter where you are ❤️🌎 (The actual funny part of this story is their birthday is on the 14th of January, but Anna and I woke up on the 13th of January AND gave them the full shebang birthday – oh my, we're losing our marbles and most certainly track of what day it is!)
