@UmsAhmed33 @CommonS98701168 @MartinSLewis Tax code will be irrelevant- the standard 1257L code will be less than the state pension amount for loads of people, and I’ve seen quite a few similar letters chasing the outstanding tax. Seems a poor level of real world knowledge by the chancellor.

@CommonS98701168 @MartinSLewis Depends on what your tax code was, I can't see a reason you'd have to do a simple assessment. V strange to have underpaid tax if these were your only income sources

News! From 2027, the full new state pension will be higher than the tax-free allowance, so tax is due. The Chancellor had said people wouldn’t need to do assessments, but on my show tonight, Rachel Reeves said, they won’t pay tax at all this parliament. Watch the full show & budget interview on itv.com/watch/the-mart… PS I asked the Chancellor after that…  ‘what about those edge-cases who earn just a tiny bit elsewhere like small private pensions?’ she said they won’t be included in this and thus will pay tax.

@PockitUK your company are horrendous to deal with. Avoid at all costs. My card expired in November, and despite regular “help” chats with their AI Bot and a promise that “an agent will get back to me in “24-48 hours”, I’ve been months without any card, and never had a reply

@Vitality_UK complete joke. My wife’s points stopped syncing a month ago. DMed and was told how to submit evidence (4 x exercise a week) to be told - “too much work for us to look at, can we add 7 points per week!!!”. Promised calls back but heard absolutely nowt. AVOID

@MoonpigUK Been a big fan, but awful customer service. Ordered a card and gift last week for my wife’s birthday tomorrow. Chased it up and apparently the order got “stuck in printing”. I now have no time to find an alternative card and gift - not even offered a credit. Shocking.

That customer service is more disgusting that serving up meat to a vegetarian. Shame on @coopuk @vegsoc - what do you make of this?!? #vegetarian #coopuk

For a vegetarian to bite into a cheese&onion slice & discover it's a steak slice I'm very disappointed by @coopuk response. 2 wks to get a reply & then a brief apology & promise of a refund to my co-op account. 1 month on & still no refund - not this this is adequate compensation

@OTdebbiemans @BootsUK @BootsHelp We had the same-the inside of the calendar on one half was a duplicate. Spent hours in the phone, for them to agree to resend a replacement to our daughter - a week later - when she’s now home from uni. It was left on the doorstep of a (now empty!) terrace house on Monday!

@care_wales What are the guidelines for family visits to care homes in Wales? Someone has just moved into a care home and his wife is being told that she can only visit him for a max of 3 hours per week which is heartbreaking for them both

@Printerpix Thank you for the update. I will check if I’ve been charged for the first order. The second seems to have been with the Courier company for a week… I’m beginning to think it would have been quicker to have hand painted my holiday photos rather than have them printed

@Printerpix What on Earth is going on with your company. I placed an order (44015971) in mid Sept which they can’t supply tracking for. ReOrdered again on 30 Sept (order 44021341) and still no sign of it despite their “2-4 day” courier delivery time. Absolute jokers

@bt_uk Absolutely horrendous service. Re-arranged the afternoon to be in for engineer who’s not showed up. Call centre then hung up on the dot of 8pm despite being on hold for what feels like forever. In the meantime I’m still paying for WiFi that’s not working for a third week.
