While Scorched Earth was the first script we wrote for Stargate PRIOR to officially joining the production, Window of Opportunity was not, in fact, the first thing we wrote AFTER we landed on staff. No, that distinction goes to the lyrics to the Stargate: SG-1 theme song Paul and I composed shortly after moving into our offices. Over 12 years, 14 seasons, 350 hours of television - I feel that this remains one of the best things we ever wrote for the franchise. Director Peter DeLuise coaxed us into performing it for one of the DVD extras. Enjoy.
