@northernassist You'd have thought that the barriers at Piccadilly would have flagged up a problem with my concessionary travel pass. Let me through on both entry and exit Instead, subject to a lecture from the train guard and a fine. No empathy or understanding of my situation

Just back from my 14th Glastonbury.
Some of the headliners didn’t go down well but as always it was a brilliant festival.
Reading some of the media, it’s seems they think it’s was taken over by terrorist sympathisers. Whilst, there clearly was a bit of political nonsense here and there. Some ‘Woke’ artists having a ramble on about shit they know nothing about. Or a few bed wetters carrying flags that don’t represent them or the country they’re from.
But all in all, it’s still the greatest music festival on Earth. Hopefully, when it returns in 2027, people will remember how it brings people together via music and how it restores faith in humanity.
#Glastonbury2025 ☮️✌️😍🇬🇧
@sparksofficial@O2ApolloManc Have to say it here, though I wasn't in Manchester. Was there in London on Thursday. Good luck to everyone trying to get JanSport Backpack out of their heads. I have yet to succeed. Tips welcome. What amazing performers Sparks are!
One more for the books. Tonight was very impressive - probably one of the best shows @fatherjohnmisty and his band have done. This also wraps up the EU/UK tour. FJM will be back in the UK this summer, and back in Europe next year (we heard).
@steveharleyCR Having trouble accessing the website. Has it been taken down?. The was a hint that may be ,at some point , there would be something planned to celebrate his life. Wouldn't want to miss.
