@justBlakePrice Borderline IMO, and a great question. I think others make a compelling case that the team should be far more clear about direction. I think the team is clearly tanking this season though, and honestly being awful is kind of the point.

Existential question: Can you criticize a team for losing badly when you believe they should be tanking anyway? Or is it piling on?

@creation247 Hard disagree. This would be horribly short-sighted. Hard to measure any individuals' contribution to society so cleanly. One can only make the claim this is good policy out of pure ignorance.

@kareem_carr I feel anybody who does any amount of real working with data would nearly immediately discard that measurement as erroneous. As you say, it's just not realistically a signal. I honestly was psychologically blind to it at first, even with it circled!

What are the chances this one guy has completely unique biology compared to the thousands of other study participants, with no trail of intermediate outliers hinting at a rare but occasionally operative secondary biological mechanism?

as a (bio)statistician, i just have to say it's extremely likely that this dude's results are due to a mistake or measurement error

@ellycelly Those first few episodes of the crown were insane. The way they used cohesiveness between the acting and cinematography to create gravitas around the becoming of Queen Elizabeth is something that haunts me all the time.

Jared Harris did things with like 1.5 episodes of The Crown that some actors never do in their entire careers
