I want to express my deep gratitude for all of the brave servicemembers involved in rescuing two F-15E crew members in Iran. These operations are incredibly difficult, and the safe return of both crew members is a powerful testament to their training and the expertise of all the U.S. military units involved in this search and recovery. Grateful today and every day for our heroic men and women in uniform.

The one thing you could do to honor those service members would be to quit being a bitch, grow a spine, and pass the SAVE America Act.

It's absolutely absurd that the American military can literally set up an entire military command post behind enemy lines just to rescue 1 pilot... ...but the GOP in Congress cannot muster a single ounce of courage whatsoever to pass the SAVE Act Tells you all you need to know.

The Senate's institutional hollowness was exposed when Thune and Schumer pushed through a 3 AM vote to strip ICE funding with only 5 senators present. I no longer take seriously any appeals to procedure or tradition. The rules are engineered to serve K Street, preserve lawmakers' comfort, and sideline the public they claim to represent.
