@NMBLAKE Nah, it was for United, so he will disagree wholeheartedly, whilst confirming that Martinez deserved to be sent off for the hair touch.

You know old dreary bollocks Dermot Gallagher will be on Sky in a day or so defending Michael Salisbury.

@Magpie24_7 Big six bias?? Check the decisions that have gone against United this season. I actually thought it was handball, the laws of the game do say otherwise.

Laughable decision from the referee's yet again. I don't usually post non Newcastle but how have they come to that decision. He's practically caught it FFS. Guarantee if that's the other way around it's not given. Big 6 bias continues to be a massive issue around referees.

@prodnose The game was stolen from us a good few years ago now Danny. It is certainly not a game for the match going fan.

Its insane, enraging, that the Mbeumo handball is ruled as legitimate play. It's crazy. Idiotic. 100% wrong. Football has fallen into the hands of a small, distant elite who inform us what we have witnessed. We, supporters, apparently just accept this because we are helpless.

The problem with the reasoning that the handball was deemed accidental as the ball also came off Bryan Mbeumo’s hip before it hit his arm is that he then controlled it. It didn’t just hit his arm, he trapped the ball, clearly gaining an advantage as he turned and shot. #MUNNFO

@DalaiPalmerMCR I agree, that American football tackle by Khusanov was a stonewall penalty.

@SuellaBraverman Shoulda, woulda, coulda. You were part of a government that was in power for 14 years, positions of high power. Yet you continue to blame that self same government.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda. And when I urged him to use his position as PM to leave the ECHR so we could stop the boats, he refused. He couldn’t even bring himself to put it in the Tory manifesto. Yet he kept promising the British people that he would do ‘whatever it takes’! Never trust the Tory Party.
David Frost@DavidGHFrost

It's no good complaining now. Rishi Sunak had every chance to set out a vision during his two years as Prime Minister. The Tory Party would absolutely have got behind a properly conservative view. Instead we got nothing for a year, & then A-level reform and the smoking ban.

Andy Burnham abandoning his post as Mayor, and triggering an election in service of nothing other than his own ambition. Using the people of Makerfield as his pawns. Big mistake.

'Love will tear us apart again,' floated over Wembley as Pep Guardiola stood with his arms folded, soaking in the celebrations of Manchester City fans after the FA Cup Final. A 20th trophy in English football is testament to a stunning legacy dailymail.com/sport/football…

@Rory_Talks_Ball It is not a soft penalty, that is an American football block tackle. The ball is going in the opposite direction to his run. Stonewall penalty.

Khusanov consistently makes these recovery runs where he bodies someone running onto the ball whilst never having a chance of getting it himself Schade, Havertz, Joao Pedro Gets away with it every time, and whilst I think that would be a soft penalty, it kinda is a foul

Howard Webb must go. Can’t believe that there isn’t more talk about it. Fans deserve better. Make calls make sense. They aren’t even trying. Send a ref to a screen and watch this and it’s a penalty 200/200 times.
Adam@AdamJoseph

If that's a foul anywhere else on the pitch, why isn't it a penalty? Joao Pedro is fouled here by Abdukodir Khusanov. He's not even got eyes for the ball. Chelsea have every right to feel aggrieved.

Pep Guardiola at the heart of Manchester City. Surrounded by players and staff. If this is the farewell season for Guardiola, he’s going out with trophies, first the League Cup, now the FA Cup, even if the title is very unlikely. 20 major trophies in 10 years. Yes, he’s had huge resources. He’s been able to strengthen mid-season with such ready-made stars as Semenyo and Guehi. He’s had huge power. Yes, City still have the 115 verdict to come (some year) and they vigorously deny all charges. But Guardiola has changed the way we look at football. Full-backs inverting into midfield, central overloads etc. And he’s so much more than possession, possession, possession. He’s played with pace, and not many English teams play with two flying wingers, Doku and Semenyo. He’s given youth a chance, and England will benefit from O’Reilly this summer. Hope Guardiola stays but if he does leave City, Maresca stands by. Huge boots to fill. English football will be the poorer without Guardiola. #CHEMCI
