Unpopular opinion: Breakpoint 2025 was kind of a disaster. Conferences forced me to pay attention. Spent most of the time talking to actually interesting people. Weather couldn’t even commit. Not too hot, not too cold. Uncomfortably pleasant. @solflare was everywhere, impossible to ignore, and somehow decided to drop a casual 250k giveaway at the final party. Crazy guys. Finally met the @BlocksmithLabs founders and legends after 3+ years, which reminded me how long I’ve been around and how many NFTs I’m still bagholding. Food was annoyingly good. Met @SolanaSensei, a reminder that some people are just too likable. Had deep conversations with @Maky_sol and somehow managed to disturb my inner child, who was peacefully minding his own business. Had pizza with my @Oligarchxyz fam. I’m from Italy, and I couldn’t complain. That hurt. Met the Solflare founders and discovered that, on top of building one of the most important players on @solana, they’re also young, friendly and down to earth. Very annoying. Stayed out until 4am drinking and dancing in a club. Exhausting experience. My hearing is still recovering. Spent most of the time checking my Solana watch, trying to figure out when it would finally be time to go home. Collected so much merch I had to pay for an extra bag on my return flight. Would not recommend BP 2026. Too many bad things happened and this post barely covers 10% of it. Plus, you might get stabbed in London.
