@scotball_ It's depressing thinking about where he'd be right now, without those injuries. I genuinely thought his career might have been over at one point. Hopefully he is finally ovr those injuries. Got a lot of quality. If they don't take up the 1 yr option, I'd love him at Rangers.

I didn't think Deontay Wilder still had that type of endurance and toughness in the tank, massive credit to him after the last couple of years. Please don't rob him for home country bias

@scotball_ @scotsunsport That's exactly it. We have good players, the majority thing we lack is pace and directness out wide. Back in the mid 2010s Ikechi Anya was pretty much a mid/low championship WM. But he had the raw pace, that we massively lacked. So he helped us and helped him stand out for us.

Falkirk manager John McGlynn believes Calvin Miller can be an asset to the Scotland national team: “Calvin would give you a lot of options because you can play him either side, he’s got great delivery. “I’m sure he was in Steve Clarke’s thoughts.” (@scotsunsport)

@scotball_ @qn_carlino Hopefully he makes the move. If he can find consistency in his passing, he has all the attributes to be a very good box to box CM. I doubt we are going for him. We have 4 CMs and are targeting physical presence. Celtic will probably be. Given their rebuild in the summer.

Scotland’s latest Serie A export? Reports in Italy suggest Bologna are interested in Kilmarnock midfielder David Watson, who is out of contract at Rugby Park this summer. Celtic and Rangers are also believed to be considering a move for the 21-year-old. (@qn_carlino)

@Kankagroup It's the policy PSG and now Bayern are using. Quality first teamers supplemented with young players. No more wasting millions on squad players Paying dividends for them.

@scotball_ @MichaelDoc1127 He's a Clarke auld reliable and part of the core squad. Pretty much the only reason. Clarke to his credit and detriment tends to be loyal to his players during the 2 year phase between tournaments.

My preferred Scotland starting XI for the match against Japan today: • Full strength before a more experimental lineup v Côte d’Ivoire. • Tierney tried out at RB. • Full Serie A central midfield three of Gilmour, Ferguson & McTominay. What team would you like to see? 👇🏻

@RangersJournal When you look at how we play. Focused down the left. Beck would be ideal on the right. A physical box threat, who can win his headers at the back post.

The scouting dept are back, this time with another look forward to our summer transfer window with a look potential players of interest. This week sees us in Scandinavia, more precisely Denmark as we look at some talent from the Danish Superliga. Will we dip into the Scandinavian market this summer as we look to strengthen the squad? Take a quick look below at some players highlighted by the guys, with a deeper dive into these players coming later in the week on our Youtube channel.

@RangersReview55 @Chris_Jack89 Given we need atleast 6 players just to replace the loans and frees, that doesn't seem feasible.

@adamski152 Yeah football seems to be a collective process now. Bjorneberg seems to have been a big part in Aarhus moving forward. Really hope he remains part of the process.

Good to hear there’s a possibility of keeping Bjornebye on, again always wary of attributing successes or failures to one person - but certainly seems to be a big focus on Scandinavian markets which you imagine he and Steinsson are leading on.

Things change really quickly in football and a lot of clubs are now moving away from a Sporting Director model in favour of shared responsibility. Ultimately as long as the people making the decisions are experienced and know what they’re doing then whatever works best is best!

@ArrC94 @JoshuaBarrieRR @RangersReview55 I feel like this window has been a different level, compared to any previous. No taking the usual 4-12 months to adjust. Just straight in and performing. Only Skov Olsen can be talked down, even then he has gotten a few important assists. Has me very positive for the summer.

@JoshuaBarrieRR @RangersReview55 One of the best signings Rangers have made in a long time. Came straight into the team and made an impact. Recruitment has had plenty of criticism in recent years, but the last two windows look like they’ve found some proper talent.

@RangersReview55 @Chris_Jack89 The finish on his Killie goal, is something not really being talked about. That is incredibly good technique and composure. How many times have we been in that situation, where our WM/ST hit it low at the keeper or wide. Curtis instead calmly clipped it over the keeper.

@IainMitchell17 @EwenDCameron With who... I absolutely hate nonsense replies like that. So if someone is grossly incompetent, he shouldn't be sacked, because I can't name someone off the top of my head. We had a chance to go a different direction when a top ex ref from England wanted it. They went Collum.

I don’t agree with him a lot, but @EwenDCameron is spot on here. Willie Collum as Head of Referees can’t continue - any other line of work he’d of been sacked. The referees aren’t good enough. There are inconsistencies every single week with offsides, handballs, penalties… it’s a shambles. This isn’t even a Rangers / Celtic issue for me, it’s Scottish football in general. Week after week the same bizarre decisions and mistakes, with the same cast of referees then rolled out the week after.

@Kankagroup Fergie only made a few sub appearances as a teenager. It was at 20 Barry broke through. He's probably the closest comparison, in terms of pure raw ability in breaking through. I never witnessed him but Derek Ferguson is probably the only one I can think of at Ibrox.

Been going to watch Rangers for over 30 years at Ibrox. Off the top of my head, Barry Ferguson and Mikey Moore the most talented teenagers to play for the club in that time? Nathan Patterson done well too. Cant think of many others that had this kind of ability at his age.

Mikey Moore has grown as a player and a person over the course of his Rangers loan spell. He now has 40 appearances and six goals to his credit and has earned his own song from the fans. @blairwords1 on the development on and off the park ⤵️ rangersreview.co.uk/opinion/259584…
