One of the things I’ve noticed in these last few hours is that so very many people on Twitter are truly awful human beings.

Twitter is a handy and constant reminder that socialists are disgusting people.

Quite saddened by the people I've had to unfollow the last 24 hours. Lots of decent campaigners and academics. But if you celebrate someone's death, there's something terribly, terribly wrong with you.

I am by no means a royalist but I have the utmost respect for the Queen who’s dedicated her whole life to serving the nation. Seeing her in this moment will stay with me forever. This moment of heartbreaking leadership. Respect 🙏

Fellow Brits, for every nasty, obnoxious individual, hiding behind their colour when posting sickening tweets, there are millions of us, of all ages, races, colour & creed whose hearts are broken at the loss of a beloved & an incomparable Queen. Rest in Peace Your Majesty 💔
