@RollingCalabash @RobertAlai Probably you own your own house and you don't know what slum dwellers go through. They also need to live in dignity. Education has been free since Kibaki era yet those educated haven't seen a need to uplift themselves from those slums!
English

@RobertAlai You're extremely stupid and idiotic! Housing is not at the top of the hierarchy of needs for slum dwellers. Even if we assumed it was, only a fool, an extreme fool of fools would think building 900 household units for slum dwellers is transformative. So continue lickin ruto's ass
English

This shows that the man of the fake smart city isn't smart at all.
There are thousands of projects and programs that President Ruto is moving in the country.
Affordable Housing might not make sense to moneyed fools who don't understand the deep struggles of poor people in slums, but it does to many of us.
There are many ICT, sports, agric and educational initiatives of the govt.

@Ms_keiramo @georgediano Why didn't they give the others the right to life? My rights end where I infringe on yours.
English

@georgediano Every person accused has a right to a lawyer, being minors, the parents have a right to access. That is the law if you put emotions kando. It’s unfortunate what the kids allegedly did, and worse for the affected families who lost their loved ones. But the kids have a right here
English

Parents of the students accused of killing others at Utumishi Girls. The actions of some parents in causing drama at the police station appear insensitive to the pain being experienced by the affected families. Instead, they should give the police enough time to conduct investigations into the Utumishi Girls incident.
Their children are safe in police custody, while other parents are mourning children who are in the mortuary awaiting identification. The best thing they can do now is hire lawyers to ensure their children are treated fairly, allow the investigation to take its course, and show sympathy to the affected families.
To ascertain the culpability (theoretically) of students and the bad influence from home, it may be insightful to observe the behavior and demeanor of the parents as depicted in this video. It is very clear the daughter of this man is among the top planners of arson. So sad. Let him look for a lawyer before Tuesday when the suspects will be arraigned in court.

@Kimuzi_ Maize has always been 2500. 4000 or 3500 if true, is a plus
English

@sholard_mancity Yes, the same way there were fertilizer at 1000 and 7000 during Uhuru's time

Tutam supporters, quick question:
When you reach the petrol station, do they have a special queue for government supporters?
Like:
UDA/Tutam lane - Diesel 150 bob
Opposition lane - Diesel 242 bob
Because the way some of you defend high fuel prices online, we thought maybe you people received a secret subsidy card from State House.
Meanwhile all Kenyans are being beaten equally by fuel prices.
The only difference is that some are crying while others are defending the whip.
And this “we are now in government” slogan by joho, mbadi etc has really confused people.
Boss, WHO is “we”?
Do you belive you are part of that "we"
Or its Mbadi, Joho, Wanga and their friends with fuel guzzlers, security and government allowances? Do you think you are part of the deals, tenders, luxury convoys and privileges?
Because last time I checked:
Your fare still went up
Your shopping still reduced etc
But online you are fighting like deputy government spokespersons for free.
The harsh truth is this:
Many ordinary supporters are out here fighting fellow poor Kenyans online for leaders who would never even notice their suffering.
You defend them.
They enjoy power.
You carry the taxes.
And somehow you’ve been convinced that suffering quietly is called loyalty.

English

@sholard_mancity Let him remove G to G and let market dynamics control itself then. You'll be here wanting demonstrations for lack of expensive fuel. You'll say heri ikuwe expensive but iko.
English

Some people are angry that a few matatu leaders were allegedly bribed to call off protests.
But my fellow Kenyans, why are we still acting like freedom depends on a few “leaders”?
Didn’t 2024 teach us anything?
The biggest lesson from the Finance Bill protests was this:
Kenyans are strongest when they move as citizens, not followers of leaders.
A leaderless movement cannot be bought.
It cannot be threatened.
It cannot be silenced with handshakes and envelopes.
If millions of Kenyans are genuinely angry about fuel prices, taxes, and the cost of living, then nobody needs permission to protest. You can decide on Monday, Tuesday, or any day the country will protest. And no one will stop the people.
Not politicians.
Not activists.
Not matatu SACCO bosses.
You, the person reading this tweet, are the movement.
That is what scares the government the most:
ordinary citizens realizing their power does not come from politicians.
And stop losing hope.
That is exactly where the Ruto wants you, frustrated, divided, and defeated before even trying.
Remember how stubborn Ruto was during the Finance Bill?
People were told protests would change nothing.
Then Kenyans occupied the streets.
And the bill collapsed.
Power only listens when citizens become impossible to ignore.
If people peacefully sustained pressure for even 2 or 3 days, this government would feel it immediately.
So stop waiting for “leaders”.
A nation of 50 million people should never outsource its voice to a few individuals.
Reject Fuel Prices

@ombetewaasembe @RobertAlai You mean there's no capitation or SHA ain't working?
English

@RobertAlai Why not education funding? So tuwe na railway but wajinga? Why not hospital drugs? We just die because we have railway.
Why not industries? Etc
English

@sammy_kim96755 @RobertAlai Rironi-Mau Summit also hosts Afcon? Naivasha-Kisumu SGR,completion of dualing of Kenol-Marua road also hosts Afcon?
English

@RobertAlai He didn't have an AFCON to host at that time as we all know
English

@pato2024196748 @sholard_mancity Why are our neighbours lacking fuel then?
English

@sholard_mancity There was no G to G ever and we never lacked fuel. Akwende
English

John Mbadi has now resorted to selling fear to Kenyans.
He claims that if Kenya abandons the G-to-G fuel deal, the country could run out of fuel because nations without “dedicated suppliers” face shortages.
That is simply false.
Tanzania has no G-to-G fuel deal.
Yet Tanzanians still buy fuel every day.
Many other countries import fuel without locking citizens into opaque arrangements that enrich a few connected individuals.
Kenyans are being blackmailed into believing there is only one way to import fuel.
No.
There is competition.
There are open markets.
There is transparency.
The painful truth is this:
G-to-G has become a channel for a few people to make billions while ordinary Kenyans pay some of the highest fuel costs in the region.
And every extra shilling on fuel means:
Higher food prices.
Higher transport costs.
Higher cost of living.
We are not stupid.

@Maryian96 3 PM at night? And truthful man relies on you for information??!!!!!

Wonders will never cease!

English

@HonMoses_Kuria Because that's the only language the government can understand.
English

🚨🗣️ Paul Merson cannot see Man United being in the Premier League title picture next season:
“Manchester United were poor against Sunderland last weekend, that squad looked shallow and it just shows how many more signings they need to be able to compete in the Champions League.’’
“I don’t think Manchester United even have an outside chance of pushing for the Premier League title next season.
“They will do well to qualify for the Champions League again and that’s about it. The challenge of playing in midweek could hurt them if they don’t recruit well enough.”

English

@ZeddyE8382 @johnlan28974003 @C_NyaKundiH Which policy? There's a 40% increase in fuel prices worldwide due to supply shortages. This is Trump and Netanyahu's making
English

@johnlan28974003 @C_NyaKundiH This is all about policy making, wake up and open your eyes
English

This fuel increase is economic terrorism against Kenyans.
Petrol is up, Diesel is up. Transport will go up, food will go up, power backups will become more expensive, and every small business will be squeezed again.
You cannot keep looting, overtaxing and mismanaging a country, then punish citizens at the pump and call it regulation.
English
