A happy outcome for the MJG partnership's investment in $FOX.CN Sincere thanks to Dave Lotan, Stephen Case, Chris MacIntyre, @flaschinger and the others involved in seeing this through. The prospect of Martison being developed by $AEM is exciting for Canada.

Nice to see good guys win. A Dave Lotan company delivers with $94.3M sale of phosphate play Fox River Resources (director, owns 8.3%) to Agnico. Comes on the heels of $AU.V exit, also to Agnico. Not many guys in jr. mining completely aligned w/ shareholders (no pay/options) 🙏🏼

This also makes Dave Lotan the first person to sell two separate companies to $AEM in a 15 day window. Incredibly impressive $AU.V $FOX.CN

At Mining Forum Europe 2026 in Zürich, Cupel Advisory's Neil Adshead argued major gold miners, flush with cash amid US$35 billion projected 2026 free cashflow, should build internal equity portfolios in junior explorers rather than expanding dividends or in-house exploration. Juniors made 12 of 17 major gold discoveries last decade. Centerra Gold hired Adshead to deploy US$25 million across early-stage explorers in eastern Canada and Nevada, already up 100%, yielding four optioned projects and deal-flow advantages. Agnico Eagle exemplifies the model, backing 60-70 juniors. miningforum.live/p/major-gold-m…

No it doesn't. G2 had one of the very few high quality orebodies worth developing. There are definitely some goodies in Canada too, but be very careful valuing your junior crap-co's at the same multiple G2 just received. Ps. Congrats to Dan, Patrick and team. Amazing outcome

G Mining Ventures: Acquired G2 Goldfields with a 72% premium for $10.64 CAD share. They paid $2B or $500 per oz at 4M oz. Do you realize what this implies? If gold prices trend higher, all of those large development projects in Canada are worth a fortune. 😳 juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-n…

Trump's approval rating just fell below 40 percent in our tracking for the first time. And his net approval rating is now -17.4, also a new low and down about 5 points over the past several weeks.

19 years ago, a high school basketball coach put his team manager into a game for the final four minutes. The kid had never played a single minute of competitive basketball in his life. He scored 20 points. Jason McElwain was diagnosed with severe autism at age two. He didn’t speak until he was five. He couldn’t chew solid food until he was six. He wore a nappy for most of his early childhood. As a baby, he was rigid, wouldn’t make eye contact, and hid in corners away from other children. He tried out for his school basketball team every year and got cut every time. Too small. Too slight. Barely 5’6 and about 54 kilograms. But he loved the game so much that his mum called the school and asked if there was any way he could be involved. The coach created a team manager role for him. For three years, McElwain showed up to every practice and every game. He wore a shirt and tie on match days. He ran drills, handed out water, kept stats, and cheered every basket like he’d scored it himself. On 15 February 2006, the last home game of his final school year, the coach let him suit up in a proper jersey and sit on the bench. With four minutes left and a comfortable lead, the coach sent him in. His first shot missed. His second missed. Then something shifted. He hit a three-pointer. Then another. Then another. His teammates stopped shooting entirely and just kept passing him the ball. He hit six three-pointers and a two-pointer. 20 points in four minutes. The highest scorer in the game. When the final buzzer went, the entire crowd rushed the court and lifted him onto their shoulders. His mum tapped the coach on the shoulder, in tears. “This is the nicest gift you could have ever given my son.” McElwain won the ESPY Award for Best Moment in Sports that year, beating out some of the biggest names in professional sport. He’s 36 now. He works at a local supermarket, coaches basketball, has run 17 marathons including five Boston Marathons, and travels the country speaking about never giving up. When asked about that night, his coach still gets emotional. “For him to come in and seize the moment like he did was certainly more than I ever expected. I was an emotional wreck.”

I have heard many explanations for the rally in the copper market over the past 24 hours... upside call option granters being caught wrong-footed, collar hedging by miners alarmingly out of the money, even aggressive buying of $20,000 per tonne strike calls for June and December at notable premiums ($42 and $160).... However, it all started... what ended up happening was a cascade of margin calls. Adding fuel to the fire, there was the unmistakable smell of opportunistic capital... There were certainly funds leaning into the thin overnight liquidity, pushing price discovery uphill.... I also heard of panic among certain Chinese smelters who had prudently pre-priced concentrate deliveries... which may be delayed, or possibly not show up at all...? Faced with the reality of deferred supply, they did what markets always force you to do when assumptions break: they covered. With the market starved of new copper, with demand electrifying faster than supply can respond, I doubt this will be the last of the volatility... Whatever the narrative, the result is the same

I have no clue why $OGN.V is spiking but I booked some profits at $3.20 today. Hopefully I won't regret it and I can look to re-enter cheaper, or allocate to $KLD.V or $WDO.to... or Canadian energy
