A tweet on my time line appeared of young lady who said if you were 30 or 35 can't remember the age and you don't have your life figured out it's a hard pass. I felt so bad as I'm just drifting in the world and Im 37. Not everyone gets a good deck of cards for their life.

Regarding Lycurgus, founder of Sparta. The pivotal moment in the creation of Sparta came when Lycurgus proposed radical laws that would transform the state into some of the greatest warriors in history. A member of the assembly was so offended that he struck Lycurgus in the eye. Lycurgus could easily have killed him and everyone knew it. Instead, he stood there with his eye destroyed and invited that man to his house for dinner, ultimately convincing the man to become one of his greatest supporters. Once the laws were in place, Lycurgus left for the temple, saying the laws could not change until he returned. Then Lycurgus starved himself to death. BAMF. The lesson here is that revenge is for the weak.

The Video shows Hamas allegedly shooting down Israeli Helicopters with the caption "more power to you Hamas". The FACTS: The video is actually taken from a video game called 'Arma 3'. The post stated that "You would have never seen such scenes before in Palestine. Palestinian Haryat fighters shot down 4 Israeli war helicopters in Gaza and surprised the world with their preparedness" This same exact video from the game was originally shared online 4 days before the Hamas Terror attack began. Be careful before sharing videos on social media. Know the sources!

I’ve seen the videos. What Hamas is doing is undeniably terrible and inexcusable. I’m not here to deny that. But have you seen the videos involving the Israeli military? They aren’t exactly blameless if you take a closer look. Both sides have committed atrocities, and this cycle of violence must end. It certainly won’t end with the prime minister calling for vengeance.

You’re right; this is a deeply complex issue, and I won’t pretend to have all the answers. However, resorting to violence hasn’t been effective for the past 70 years. Both nations should explore new approaches and delve deeper into the conflict’s root causes, with the goal of addressing and resolving them.

Appreciate the thorough response! Great examples. I’ve been guilty of all of them at different points in my life. However, Sunday chill is something I’m now implementing. One day a week to combat my obsessive approach to self-improvement (which usually results in burnout after a few months). What floats one boat, may sink another’s. P.S. I’m doing well, gradually building momentum back up. Hope you’re well as well.

Hey Gelebki! Long time no see. Hope you're doing well. As for your question... "balance" in this case means "doing normie stuff". By that I mean: •Spending your nights gazing at the TV •Going out randomly with friends •Having a "we'll see how it goes" attitude to the day •Working hard on the weekdays and then chillin' on the weekends If you're serious about improving yourself (especially if you're starting from a low position), you can't afford to do that. There's just too much work that needs to be done, too much effort to be put in for you not to be "all in". Many people don't give their self-improvement efforts enough heat, so that's why they have mediocre results.

Note: If you're serious about developing yourself, forget about any notion of balance. I spent a 2-year period deeply honing my psychology. During that time I gave up many things. But it was worth it. How much is self development worth to you?
