@Thom_Hartmann @ktjazz14 Agreed my favorite chart showing the data from the Census department and the graph that visualizes how big the gap has gotten between rich and poor. It started with Reagan’s supply side economics mythology. census.gov/data/tables/ti…

I would actually fire Mitch Johnson because of how he’s handled the Fox/Harper situation in this Finals. How can I trust you to continue to be the head coach after this?

@kwill44 Can Brunson stand up he falls all the time. He can’t even run through the lane w/o stumbling. I mean w/o the ball.

@___Colb___ They are undersized, lack a true PG and play so hard on defense that’s why they have a hard time maintaining leads. Undersized means giving up O-Rebs in the clutch. Lack of PG means not leveraging Wembanyama in paint. Defense takes your legs away and robs you of 3pt shots.

ICE took a 31 y/o Haitian asylum-seeker into custody, drove her 30 miles away to a Pittsburgh office, put an ankle monitor on her, then sent her out the front door with no way to get anywhere or contact her family. She froze to death at a bus stop. It's now ruled a homicide.

Released in 1975, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi was an animated television special directed by legendary animator Chuck Jones and based on the classic story by Rudyard Kipling. The story follows a brave mongoose who takes on two deadly cobras to protect the family that rescued him. For a generation of kids, it was one of those rare animated films that felt genuinely intense. The stakes were real, the villains were terrifying, and you couldn't help but root for Rikki-Tikki every step of the way. More than 50 years later, it's still remembered as one of the finest animated adaptations ever put on television. Did you watch Rikki-Tikki-Tavi growing up?

@BrownsNationcom He’s a TE, Who played TE in BSL last year? His targets may be reduced b/c the WRs are better but his impact may increase, because he has less attention directed his way.

Alex Kay of Bleacher Report believes Harold Fannin Jr. could face a reduced offensive role in Todd Monken’s new system, pointing to added receiving talent and the possibility that his target volume declines compared to last season. "Fannin's team-high 107 targets are almost guaranteed to come down after Cleveland used several premium picks to bolster its receiving corps during Monken's first draft. A schematic change is also in the works, one that could see Fannin lose his starring role in the offense. While Monken has historically leveraged 12 and 13 personnel—meaning two or three tight ends on the field, respectively—neither Mark Andrews nor Isaiah Likely managed to eclipse 700 receiving yards or 60 catches under his watch." I keep hearing the NFL comp for Brenden Sorsby is Jake Cutler. Is that really that good for a top-5 pick? Cutler's career stats are: 62.0% CMP%, 229.8 YPG, 85.3 Passer Rating 227 TD 160 INT He also only threw for 3,700+ yards twice in 12 years. Very mid.

@BrownsNationcom I liked writers like Chuck Heaton and Hal Lebovitz who knew football but did not think they knew how good the team would be that year. We won games when we had that mindset. The 1964 champion #Browns were not the most talented team. Sam Darnold, SEA defense & SEA rushing=SB

Zac Jackson of The Athletic believes the Browns should seriously consider trading Denzel Ward, arguing that moving the veteran cornerback could help Cleveland add valuable draft capital as the franchise continues to build toward its long-term future. "Almost certainly, trading Denzel Ward will be the right play for the 2026 Cleveland Browns. He's signed for two more years. He's an absolute stud of a player. He is a great teammate. Until this year, he never missed anything in the offseason. But Denzel Ward is on the backside of his career. Carries an injury risk. It's probably why you won't get a first-rounder for him. This is a top-5 cornerback in the league, but the Cleveland Browns are now officially pivoting to a focus on the back half of '27 and '28 on getting younger. This team would be better served by getting even more picks moving forward, and moving Denzel Ward will be the right thing to do." (via @ultCLEsports)

On February 3, 2023, Two white Prosper ISD students ( Alec Ray Adamson 17 years, Mason Enslow Schiller 18 years ) fatally shot a black 19 year old David Noel Pleasant at a playground in Little Elm, Texas. As Pleasant exited a car attempting to run away from these two white supremacist. Adamson got out of the vehicle and shot Pleasant in the back of the head. They later sped away and took police on a chase, crashed the vehicle, then fled on a foot pursuit. Both charged with First Degree Murder, Schiller testified against Alec saying they went to sell Pleasant weed and didn’t believe his friend Alec’s shooting was justified. Schiller received NO prison time. Verdict: In September 2025, Jury convicted Alec Adamson of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon rather than murder, sentencing him to 4 years in prison. Since the crime happened in 2023, he was immediately paroled. 😡 KARMELO IN FRISCO, TX just received 35 years for defending himself. 💔 THIS IS AMERIKKA ! 🚨

@Kwen_C The nbrs do support this but you have to understand how Myles impacts games, to understand what nbrs to compare. First what nbrs/measures do good teams seem to share. What measure should your team target. Second how does Myles effect this measure. It’s in the nbrs.

I remember when the analytics community was trying to say Isaiah Thomas was just as good as Kyrie Irving in 2017 cause his advanced numbers were better I’m seeing a lot of people make that same mistake with Jared Verse & Myles Garrett right now

imo the analytics crowd struggles with how to deal with outliers (elite players) most players the #s can do decent job of rep their general impact. for outliers the numbers can be less reliable and paint a picture that a good player is closer to a elite player than reality

@IsaacOkoroFan Let me be very honest, maybe I have mellowed, but when the Steelers came into Municipal Stadium. I targeted, not thrown myself, a lot Steeler fans for snowball throwing fans. Treat your attendance at other stadiums/arenas like you are a houseguest is my best advice.

@stephenfhayes As a Black man this is the difference between Democrats & Republicans.⤵️ The Dems may not love me, many of their actions seem to support this POV. But at least they are not trying to lynch me like Reps. Killing Voting Rights Act, attack on DEI, attack on Black military members.

If you're supporting Graham Platner at this point, you're not really frustrated by the moral corrosiveness of Donald Trump and MAGA, you're just frustrated that the cretins aren't on your side.
CBS News@CBSNews

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) doubled down on his support for Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner ahead of Tuesday’s primary, despite controversies surrounding the Democrat's campaign. “I am going to do everything I can to make sure that Graham Platner is the next senator from the state of Maine,” Sanders said during a conversation with CBS News’ @costareports at the National Press Club on June 8. “When you look at politics in general, there are no saints in the United States Senate,” Sanders added. Platner is facing allegations of "unsettling" behavior toward women he dated, and has also insisted that he did not know a chest tattoo he got as a Marine in 2007 is a widely recognized Nazi symbol. He has since had the tattoo covered up.

@Rob_Shenanigans I hated them they were a bunch of bullies. My favorite moment was Starks going 1 forever versus Houston in a game 7 loss during the finals. BTW One of my worse experiences was in 1978 surrounded by Yankee fans in our dorm lounge, playoff game NY vs BOS Bucky Dent!!!

@JSweetLI As a black man in America I have voted against my personal interests and beliefs so many times I have loss count. In the last 3 Presidential Elections, I did not like Biden, Clinton or Harris. Honestly, I was lukewarm on Obama in 2012. I vote on Martin Luther King’s words

I just dropped my brilliant, hardworking 16-year-old daughter at the SATs. What the fuck is she working hard for? To enter a world where people at the highest levels of the Democratic Party and leftist media excuse domestic abuse and misogyny? What is even the point then?

Women, if a man locks you in a room against your will that is a hallmark sign of the beginning of domestic abuse. Please do not listen to the minimizing of this behavior as normal relationship behavior.

We can try to dissect why Wyatt Teller's game fell apart. The bottom line is, Kevin Stefanski is a success vampire. Everything he touched turned to shit – with the odd exception. I predict that Wyatt will be much better this year. Great convo! @KenCarman @SportsBoyTony
