@Marvel_Insights You did not watch the movie. Punisher was ruthless as usual. They only made the interaction funny. A few scenes where he was reckless. The grenade launcher. The sniper rifle. I don’t want to give any spoilers but iykyk.

The Punisher Doesn't Feel Like The Punisher Anymore. Frank Castle has a major role in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', but I feel Marvel changed what made the character so iconic. • Frank has a much bigger role than expected. • He is more lighthearted and cracks jokes throughout the movie. • He works closely with Spider-Man. • Some scenes don't feel like something the classic Punisher would do. • The change is especially noticeable after The Punisher: One Last Kill, where he was still portrayed as ruthless and violent. Marvel seems to have toned him down to fit Spider-Man's lighter, PG-13 tone. While it may feel like a natural evolution of the character, this version of Frank Castle is very different from the one fans loved in Daredevil and The Punisher. Personally, I think the best way to do justice to the Punisher is to keep him out of PG-13 movies.

Randy Moss once handed his $67,000 BMW to a teenage ball boy who needed a ride to prom. That ball boy retired with more receiving yards than Randy Moss. This story is unreal so stay with me. Late 90s Vikings. There's a kid hanging around the locker room doing odd jobs. Shagging punts, running errands, washing cars. His dad covered the team as a writer, so he had the kind of access most kids would kill for. That kid was Larry Fitzgerald Jr. Most of the players were cool with him. Randy Moss basically adopted him. Moss ran routes with him after practice. Showed up at Larry's HIGH SCHOOL practices. Gave him his cleats — they both wore size 14. And when Larry did jobs for him, Moss paid the only way Moss ever paid anybody. Fitz's words: "Straight cash, homie. I don't think he ever wrote a check." Then prom season rolls around. And teenage Larry Fitzgerald has his eye on one thing. Randy's blue 99 BMW 740. About $67K back then. Like $130K in today's money. So he works up the nerve and goes: "Randy, hey man, listen... I was curious if you weren't busy, I'd love to drive the BMW. Just got my license last week." JUST GOT MY LICENSE LAST WEEK. To borrow the nicest car in an NFL parking lot. Randy said yes. So Fitz pulls up to prom in a superstar's BMW and, in his words, "brought it back without a scratch." Now here's where it turns into a movie. That ball boy goes #3 overall in the 2004 draft. In 2017 he passes Moss — his mentor — on the all-time receiving yards list. Finishes with 17,492 yards, second most in NFL HISTORY. 1,432 catches. And this year? First ballot Hall of Famer. Joining Randy in Canton. But my favorite part is that Fitz never let this just be a funny story. He tells it as proof of who Moss really was: "The kind of stuff this man did behind the scenes for people, with no notoriety, no fanfare, was so inspirational to me. I'm one of the many charity cases that Randy looked out for." Moss was visiting homeless shelters and schools all over Minneapolis and never wanted a single camera there. He just did stuff like this. One legend handed a teenager his car keys. The teenager handed him back a legacy. Follow @thesportsontap, we post a story like this every day.

@KAOS_1961 @krassenstein They barricaded the pool and made it unavailable to public. Until repairs was done. No one ever vandalized the pool. Security. Cameras. It was a bad installation.

@Joseph328013992 @DezBryant Okay. Im Defending either of these dudes. But most people will not lose their job if they got a DWI, unless they’re in a company vehicle. Misdemeanor charges don’t lead to job lost unless it’s some type of fraud. But Romo was dumb and should lose his. That salary is a privilege

@DezBryant I get your defensive, protective stance for a close teammate & friend, but man..if the guy delivering your mail got a DWI, or the landscapers did, you wouldn’t care if they got fired. We love to be selective about who should get second chances…

@flapprdotnet Problem is Biden pardoned Fauci so he lost privilege. Fauci’s answers to questions can’t expose him BUT refusing to answer questions by pleading the “fif” is contempt! Fauci can be charged with obstruction. The truth must be so bad Fauci would rather face contempt! 🤦‍♂️ @POTUS

@Nobody1526138 @maxkellerman I knew who he was in Minnesota. Yankees career was good too. But relative to other Yankees at his position, he was no where as good of a player as Cano.

@gemgoon @maxkellerman When Soriano came up, Chuck was washed up at the end of his career and was not the same hitter with the Yankees as he was in Minnesota in general. In his prime, he was an absolute monster. I mean, just look at his OPS numbers.

Just because I have yet to see the correct all-time Yankees lineup, here it is: 1 Mickey Mantle (LF) 2 Aaron Judge (RF) 3 Babe Ruth (DH) 4 Joe DiMaggio (CF) 5 Lou Gehrig (1B) 6 Alex Rodriguez (3B) 7 Yogi Berra (C) 8 Derek Jeter (SS) 9 Robinson Cano (2B)

@Nobody1526138 @maxkellerman Yes. I get that they’re different players. But relative to their position in the lineup, Cano was a way better hitter. Chuck had some great timely moments, but as soon as we got Soriano we realized how much better that position can be.

@gemgoon @maxkellerman Different players. And Chuck had the throwing problems here. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. Knoblauch was a prototypical lead off hitter of the time with speed and got on base a ton with walks. Cano did not walk much at all but was just a monster middle of the order guy

@maxkellerman That’s one heck of a lineup. Second base is the only position where I think there’s a couple of options. Chuck Knoblauch in his prime was one of the greatest leadoff hitters. And would add a little more balance to that lineup. But obviously can’t go wrong with Cano in his prime
