Stylus on charge! ⚡️ Hopefully by now you'll have seen my initial impressions video of the new ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable. I've now received another model with the USI 2.0 stylus. It attaches magnetically to the back of the Chromebook to charge with the case protecting it✏️

Next week  on Apple, Spotify (and my website), listen to and/or watch the story of Francis M. Naumann’s formidable life (b. 1948), including his latest book "Impossible: The Love Affair Between Marcel Duchamp and Maria Martins, and the Artwork It Inspired" (out March 31st); and, upcoming auction, Duchamp & Co (Phillips April 28th). Naumann is a scholar, curator, and dealer, specializing in Dada and the Surrealism with an MFA in painting (Art Institute of Chicago, 1973) and a PhD in art history (Graduate Center of the City University NY, 1988). He taught art history and authored numerous books, articles and catalogues, including New York Dada 1915-25 (1994) and Marcel Duchamp: The Art of Making Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction (1999), both published by Harry N. Abrams. Naumann organized "Making Mischief: Dada Invades New York" for the Whitney Museum (1996), "Beatrice Wood: A Centennial Tribute" for NY’s American Craft Museum (1997), and co-curated "Conversion to Modernism: The Early Work of Man Ray" Montclair Art Museum (2003). For nineteen years—2001 to 2020—he operated the Francis M. Naumann Fine Art gallery in NY which showed the work of Duchamp, Beatrice Wood, Man Ray among others. Image: Having refrained from getting a tattoo until his 70s (that’s nearly as bad as some of mine), Naumann may very well be more of a freak me—albeit a learned one! Episode 1, Karsten Greve, on KennySchachter.art (link to video in profile above); Episode 2 out next week.

Turns out with claude code, my decades long strategy of NOT deeply learning: - regexs - sql - nginx confs - elaborate shell commands - advanced shell scripting - any javascript framework - perf optimization - webpack, cdns, bundlers - 1000 other things ...was entirely correct.
