I saw Bella Shmurda at the Victoria Island, Lagos, Adidas store yesterday and noticed a couple of things. Remind me to come to these later. I went window shopping at the Adidas store. I enjoyed the experience. After comparing prices, I realised it’s better for everyone (the shopper, the store and the local economy) that we can pay for these top of the range products in Naira. On Bella Shmurda, a family man to the core. I’d ordinarily ignore a celebrity because I don’t like stress, but I had to say hello to him, shook hands like gentlemen. I also noticed that the music switched to his sound whilst he was in the store. Matter of fact, I noticed the music switch before I realised Bella was in the store. I thought that was smooth and smart.

So let me speak on this. So my mum had a land which when she started building I contributed to it. Along the line she gave me the remaining half plot to build on and I started building. My greatest mistake was taking the land cos it really slowed the development as she retired and couldn’t finish hers and I couldn’t look away continue building mine and ignore hers. so the expense was so much that I had to abandon both. I noticed my wife never encouraged or talked about the progress of the house with me as she also knows the land belongs to my mum. 2 years ago,I got a land in my name and I started building and I saw how my wife was so much into the progress. However,I told my mum I wanted to sell my own based on not being buoyant to continue building it so I can use part to help complete hers and having in mind to use the remaining funds on my new site cos no one knows about it and she said I shouldn’t that I should leave it. Then I told her I will have to approach the court to draft that the place belongs to me and get her and my siblings to sign so no one would come in the future saying it’s a family house. However,I am the first born and only son and have 3 siblings. So my advice is to not drag anything with your parents,get your own land and start now. You need to take care of the family you make first before any one. Forget you contributed in building that house,it’s a family house. Also,don’t kill yourself for siblings,do the little you can and don’t be sorry about it.
