I was mocked a few years ago when I told everyone Idaho and Utah are on a major path to being hijacked by the Left. It’s completely true. Idaho, Utah, Tennessee, Texas. Decade-long goals for them that are shifting much faster

Over 200 bills were in motion over the last 3 days. Here are some highlights.
First, in a highly unusual motion, @ChristyZito5 invoked Senate Rule 14(e) to bring HB745 -- which prevents teachers unions from deducting dues from salaries -- out of committee and directly to the floor. The motion failed, and the bill likely will now be held in committee for the remainder of the session.
Next, S1375 -- An appropriations bill for DHW and more, failed roundly in the senate 10-25, @ChrisBruceID said in a X space yesterday he expects a few more rounds of budget bill rejections before a final agreement is reached.
HB808, a bill designed to reduce medical mandates, narrowly failed in committee.
@nichols_senator and @ChrisBruceID's HB528, a bill to allow directed blood transfusion, passed the senate and is awaiting the governor's signature.
The Senate State affairs backlog grew to 58 bills. Though, in a somewhat unexpected turn, HB659, which requires local law enforcement to enter 287(g) agreements to work with ICE, is scheduled to get a hearing on Monday.
