I dont feel nothing anymore from this season. Emotion less, hence pointless being invested in Barcelona football. If emotions aren't running wild then why would one watch football? We go again next season.

Guess my only reason left to watch football this season is to hate watch Arsenal. Only emotion I feel.

Agreed. This is the thing, Flick has been perfect for us so far given circumstances. But with Gavi, Bernal finally fit. Our team would be overall superior playing with 3 mids. Multiple combinations, between Frenkie, Pedri, Gavi, Bernal. Offers more protection and stability on the ball. Fermin becomes the 4th man, and Olmo becomes a back up F9 and rightfully drops down the pecking order. This once again is my concern with Flick. How rigid is Flick? Im not so sure but for now my best gut is, while being possibly the GOAT attacking coach, he maybe too stubborn to lead us to elite level. Time will tell. If Flick rigidity doesnt cange next season given our new circumstances, Deco shouldnt waste another season.

I hate the fact that Flick’s #10 is a 4th attacker and not a 3rd midfielder, caps our ceiling as a team too much. Tried it with Olmo, Fermin, Raphinha, even Gavi who’s an #8 through and through felt as a 4th attacker there. Such a big risk, but I really don’t like it in the grand scheme of things.

Even the players reaction after dropping out of CL was more soul less. Last year emotions and potential were peak. Hopefully we can be better next season. One down season is fine, 2 seasons are a sign of worry that the project is on the wrong path.

The vibes last season was peak. Emotions were peak, football was peak. We took a slight step behind this season but that's completely fine. We have a dynasty squad in its first few years. Hopefully between new signings, and if Flick learns from his mistakes we will make a step back in the right direction next season.

Life is long , careers are long. Lamine and Cubarsi minutes could be dropped to a healthy level for 2 seasons, playing less small games and back to playing almost every game in 2 years. The would still be only 21. I don’t think history has any reference for a young player, that a club is as dependent on like Lamine.

Barcelona recent youngsters Ansu - Finished through injury Gavi - ACL and still haven’t recovered Bernal - ACL still haven’t recovered Pedri - Shell of him self and still struggling with fitness This doesn’t say this happened because of overplaying, even though some of those names were due to overplaying But as our squad improves next summer, we should see to protect our youngsters more. Yes, anything can happen even if they don’t play, but abusing their minutes is a sure way of increasing risk. Lamine and Cubarsi are not immune to fatigue, and if we keep stacking their minutes in coming seasons we are sewing the seeds for them to get a career threat if injury (God forbid)

@gen0scap1tal @NotSteven01 To this day, I'm yet to see an actual superstar willing to give up their minutes. At most you could negotiate a 10% drop in their minutes and they wouldn't be happy for too long. The way superstars rest is by coaches optimizing their in-game workload, reducing their OOP duties.

That’s not realistic. Dembele’s minutes are a combination of playing in a league they can afford not to try on, injuries, and a lot more quality in his squad. You can bring Luis Enrique or Guardiola, they’ll both lose him if he’s on the bench for that long.
genos@gen0scap1tal

Whatever happens with Lamine whether he misses World Cup or not, his minutes next season should significantly drop. Cubarsi too. They should have Dembele minutes like 2000 minutes for the season. If we can’t do this we will truly regret it. It’s fun and games until the player gets a career changing injury and we are increasing those odds like never before.

Well we have Roony and likely will be getting a LW and for Cubarsi we’re getting Bastoni Not sure why so many of you guys are acting like suggesting 19 year old Lamine minutes should be cut is a crime. He can easily play 6-8 less league games. Less copa cup games…. But I guess some league games is pre important than the kids future
