everything about birthing culture is wrong. babies should be had at home in beds and baths, not fluorescent hospital rooms. the process should be organic, unmediated by chemical or surgical help and unassociated with the dread and pain it often is today.

The "your husband won't know if you vote for Harris" messaging isn't for women married to Trump voters, I imagine. It's a weird rallying-cry attempt to convince the base that there are millions of abusive Trump-voting husbands out there threatening their wives.

I’d love the inside story on what happened here. Walz was going to TOWN with it during the veepstakes, and then someone inside the campaign definitely throttled the phrase and the impulse. I think to very very bad results.

@whstancil But there is a pretty significant group of people who aren't exactly struggling to afford food, but who are working so much to stay afloat that they have to eat out because they don't have time to cook every day. That's, like, most of us I think.
