@AndrewRTDavies I take it you have no idea of the regime at Broadmoor? It's a high-security prison hospital not a holiday camp. There are staff trained to deal with psychos like this. We, and especially the Belmarsh staff, are all much safer now.

@real_bogdweller You would think the Prison Officers' Association would welcome the transfer. Their staff at Belmarsh are now much safer. Surely the POA knows the regime at Broadmoor is far from 'cushy'? Puzzling response.

not a great look for a prison service desperately trying to professionalise that the head of one of their professional bodies is parading himself around on TV belittling colleagues from other professions and adding to the stigma faced by vulnerable inmates with mental illness
