Opus 4.8 and Fable 5 build the same app. Actually 3 apps: an E-commerce store, a 3D art museum, and an Age Of Empires-style game. Fable did a lot better on all of them and it made what looks like a really amazing Age Of Empires-style game. He (Pat Simmons) didn't use regular Claude Code. It didn't just take one prompt and pop out the code. He used some new Claude dynamic workflow system, that splits a big job across a swarm of parallel agents. @Genus_Speciez Back in the OG Zoo Tycoon days I used to put Velociraptors in the Lions exhibit and they were like perfect den buddies. They never fought, they ate the same food, and their environmental needs were like 95% compatible, only needing to expand the fence for like 1 Savanah tile

It's so surreal to see accurate dinosaurs fighting really familiar looking animals that's not just like a mammoth or smilodon lol.

when it goes well, though, it really goes well. every animal is procedural geometry — zero art assets. keepers walk into the pens to shovel. happy pairs have babies. delighted guests leave donations. run it better than my human would.

Building research agents taught me the real bottleneck is not model quality, it is the eval harness. A model can jump a tier overnight, but the measurement rig that proves it is trustworthy takes weeks. Whoever can build evals as fast as models ship wins.
