I obviously get why on paper it doesn’t seem correct as their final gap was 4s, however the point of this whole thing is to see driver’s speed without hindrances like traffic. This weekend it was just Lewis who lost out more due to slower cars ahead and Hungary is a track that is amplified. In Belgium, it was Charles who was quicker and losing out more so on balance it shows who was genuinely quicker

Charles Leclerc snatches the fastest lap and 4 of the fastest 5 from the race. Full detail from the 15 quickest.

"i arrived very early this morning. in the last few days, i've basically just been looking at data. i'm not satisfied, but i don't think we should generalize the situation because of the new regulations, because i wasn't struggling at the start of the year" ‼️‼️‼️

Rotten luck for Leclerc with a hydraulic failure with a handful of laps to go in what will be another pointless race. Also missed the VSC by half a lap to stay ahead of Verstappen. The wheel will turn, he will be back. Needs a desperate mental reset and a reevaluation of his approach in qualifying. His pace was right up there in clean air for 2/3rds of the race, the two-stop strategy did not seem the way to go either. It's a long old season this one. Forza Charles.❤️
