@CriticalStress_ I really like this. It dovetails very nicely with the three primary elements defining the so called "Holy Trinity" of Litho-Cuisine, namely Sugar, Dough, and Grease. Current ongoing fieldwork in the Krispy Kreme formations of the late Triassic provide yet further evidence.

Here’s my classification scheme for intrusive igneous cake varieties. One must first determine how felsic or mafic the cake is, and then look at its composition, and particularly the relative amount of flour, butter and egg in the cake.
