@joblington Sadly not! There are dozens of them spread across the entire part of the island and I have only ever been able to get a name to one of them, over near the border with PNG. They are dots marked on a few maps I have seen, but not found any other info on them!

@CriticalStress_ Is there a name to this particular mud volcano field in remote Papua New Guinea, the coordinates are 2°29'46.19"S 137°57'48.45"E, there seem to be quite a few big ones

@JoshPhilipPhair I hope Scottsdale is on the look out for counterfeits of their bars. These are now, sadly, readily available here in Malaysia for less than $5 each.

My personal take is the setup for a multi-year run continues to be seen. Volatility will continue to increase both ways on this journey to incredibly higher levels from here.

Seeing some pressure on some Brics nations that have been buyers of metal w/ the War/Oil situation. 1. Can't sell their oil 2. Can't buy oil easily. Thus forced to sell some gold for USD to cover obligations. Short term only! Stagflation will roar & so will metals.

@volcaholic1 It’s an oil seep. But I’m not sure if it’s a natural one. Really doesn’t look like any natural ones that I’ve seen.

This is a natural oil seep. Hydrocarbons formed deep underground migrate through cracks in rock and reach the surface, appearing as crude oil, tar or gas bubbles in soil, rivers, lakes or the ocean.

@sanandreafault @MtStHelensWA This is a proper volcano, a mud volcano, not a pretender like Mt St Helens. However, there are mud volcanoes along the San Andreas Fault if you wanted to try it…

@volcaholic1 Just now working on trying to find out more details on this. Still not sure which of the mud volcanoes in that area erupted.

💥🌋 A huge fireball lit up the sky after a mud volcano erupted in San Juan de Urabá, Colombia, last night. Flames shot high into the air, with videos showing what some described as a “nuclear-like” blast. Several cattle were killed and vegetation caught fire, but so far no human casualties have been reported. Four homes were evacuated as a precaution, and the road between San Juan de Urabá and San Juancito was closed after cracks appeared.

Minor eruption of the Shyam Nagar mud volcano near the northern end of the Andaman Islands, India. This was previously a small mound only ~1m high, as can be seen in the images in my thread on this little known mud volcano that I have posted below.

Massive mud #Volcano eruption in Shyam Nagar, Diglipur, North #Andaman. Huge mud deposits formed as spectators flocked to witness the unusual natural event 🌋

@DavidInAuburn1 @volcaholic1 It’s honestly not that impressive as a video. They’re trying to make a methane bubble ignite and it didn’t work. But it’s still a lovely mud volcano. Lighting mud volcanoes is fun though. Here’s one I lit for my family.

Azerbaijan is home to more mud volcanoes than anywhere else on Earth. Around 350 are found here, on land and offshore in the Caspian Sea, more than any other country in the world.

@flippersau @end_share @perthmint Which they can convert immediately to allocated 1kg bars. They’ve been making ~100 1kg bars available for conversion every day.

Today's @Perthmint update There is only one silver product available - the rectangular LUNAR 1 oz horse. There is a limit of 20 per customer. There is a new message on the homepage "unprecedented bullion demand is resulting in early queue closures". The Mint is encouraging people to buy unallocated silver and saying it is "fully backed by physical metal" "Wait times for customers have increased significantly" - in other words, expect to be disappointed, you may not even get your 20 pieces. "We urge you to arrive early" The lunar horse costs $137 so the most anyone can spend on silver is $2740. This is now very similar to crypto in Australia where my Commonwealth Bank limits amount sent to crypto exchanges to $10,000 per month. They are still even saying "As Australia’s leading precious metals refinery, we can assure you there is no shortage of silver, it just isn’t in the specific forms being requested by our customers which is putting pressure on manufacturing operations"
