Angela Rayner openly lying to school children about Nigel Farage and Reform - even suggesting that children would die if Reform were in government - based on a fake policy that Nigel and many others in Reform have consistently said is untrue. This is really, really bad. Using children for political points. Lying to them about your opposition. Scaring them with falsehoods, and posting it online yourself because you're somehow proud of it! So, I guess I’m finally dying dying. I’ve been “battling” colon cancer for 5 years and I’m now at the end of my road. Treatment is failing and the cancer of it all is starting to rear its ugly head. I’ve been in the hospital for over a week. After this I’ll likely go home to hospice care and start saying my goodbyes. I don’t want to admit that it’s happening. I don’t want it to be true. If I’m honest it’s been true since I got the news in 2021. Been playing fast and loose ever since.

@Chitailova I had my first baby at 21, then 22& finally 23. I was holding the book upside down. Hubby lost job & we were poverty stricken trying to pay the mortgage. I did maths night school & then went to uni. I bc a teacher & my kids are anaesthetist, scientists & statistician.

I got pregnant in the first year of my PhD, gave birth and resumed it 3 months later, with a small sejour in a psychiatric hospital with postnatal psychosis. I was living in Sheffield then. I had to hire a nanny. My son would wake up at 5 AM. I would patiently wait for the nanny till 10, delegate my overactive, joyful son to her, then walk out of the house like a normal person, stop for a coffee at Starbucks, then go to ‘my’ room in the building designated for PhD students (I was the only one in sociology), sleep on the chair for an hour and then work on my PhD till 3 or 4, having the best time in my life before turning back into a mum. Those were genuinely some of the best years of my life.
