Our plan for the Nairobi Metropolitan Mass Rapid Transport system is the perfect solution to the traffic congestion and gridlock that face our capital city and the environs. Already, the Nairobi City County Government has given the necessary approvals for the first phase of the project, a 30km underground railway line linking densely populated parts of Eastlands and the Central Business District and comprising 25 stations. This will be the beginning of the establishment of a multi-modal transport system, featuring bus rapid transit and commuter rail, to move nearly 5 million city residents who make more than 12 million trips to and fro every day. Briefed on the progress of the Nairobi Metropolitan Mass Rapid Transport system project at State House Nairobi by Transport ministry and Nairobi County officials led by Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir and Governor Johnson Sakaja.

Vision 2030 was launched in 2008. They are saying President William Ruto can not launch Vision 2060 because he has “messed up” Vision 2030. They ruled for 14 good years under Vision 2030 while William Ruto has been in power for only 4 years. So who exactly EFFED up Vision 2030 between the two?

I don't know but getting an African to leave their ancestors graves to come and live in an apartment will be a problem. Singapore succeeded because its soo small that they needed Hugh rise building to accommodate their people just like Hong-Kong Kenya is about 800 times the size of Singapore. My 2 cents would have been to concentrate these houses in major towns and use the money meant for the rural areas to promote other activities like say fish ponding, cotton, pyrethrum revivals or some other cottage industries
