Her sister, Amanda Rodrigues, said in an interview with g1 that Lorena dreamed of studying law, but had already been accepted into medical school.

The damages part is thin too. You say there was tremendous harm. Fine. What harm. What losses. What evidence. What direct connection. Right now it reads like, trust us, it was bad. Then the letter starts reaching. Retract everything. Apologize publicly. Check with counsel before saying anything else. Preserve every phone, account, app, calendar, contact, drive, and probably the kitchen sink. At that point it stops sounding precise and starts sounding like somebody got carried away. 🗂️ And the funniest part is that it says debate and honest questions are welcome, then acts like public criticism itself is some kind of legal emergency. You do not get to wave in free speech on one line and try to put it in a car trunk on the next. A serious claim breaks down each exact statement, explains why it is false, and backs it up with evidence. This letter mostly acts offended in formal language. There is a difference between a real case and a scary PDF. This still looks like the PDF.
