@CaptMahonri @MToTheSquare @LDS_Dems I am a child of a Mexican immigrant and called them out for white knighting. Turns out @LDS_Dems is a major racist and doesnt like minorities who don't fit their narrative. Hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance 🤝 run deep in them.

@bodiddly2106 @CaptMahonri Satan has done an amazing job in co-opting Divine words and attributes and is confusing even the elect. When the progmos say love they mean dont make someone feel uncomfortable, when God says love He means carry them through the uncomfortable.

@CaptMahonri Because, blessed be the peacemaker. It’s kinda the whole church right now. Better to be a doormat and peacemaker than stand for anything of truth or value.

@deanandsha @MormonNational So some of us do as the Lord commands and give their time in the service of others, like mowing a widows lawn. You are so selfish that bot only do you not spend your own time, now you want mine as well. 👏 Go 👏 Be 👏 A 👏 Christian 👏 and mow that lawn!

@Reeseforsure Fufill Christ's commandment to take care of the poor and needy both physically and spiritually. 9th largest humanitarian aid organization in the world and the 10th largest education campaign in the world. All requires infrastructure which are assets. This is just physical needs.

@deanandsha @MormonNational Did you mow that widow's lawn yet? Or do you only complain about others doing Christ's work globally while selfishly not doing anything for anyone else?

@deanandsha @MormonNational You dont like the Church because hating feels so good and you dont want to give that up. But to deny the MASSIVE force for good that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is, well it's moronic. Get off reddit and go mow a widows lawn

You either have a paid clergy or you don't. Members running around saying everyone is unpaid while the church members run things and clean the building all while kicking all the cash to paulie in slc in pyramid scheme stuff. Again, whether surgeon or board member or ceo of mormon acme industries, these guys are paid and paid.

@deanandsha @MormonNational The Church literally feeds, houses, and heals the poor and needy. Disaster relief, medical attention, building infrastructure, the words largest education campaign, all require assets and capital to keep fueled. Thats not even counting houses of worship.

@deanandsha @MormonNational Then tithing has nothing to do with their stipend, which again is $120K. The leadership isn't even enriching themselves, the vast majority are giving up money for their service.

@deanandsha @MormonNational Let me get this straight, of the millions of members who serve in the clergywith no stipend in their free time somehow are outweighed bg the 130 who do receive a stipend so that they can serve full time? Are you high?

@deanandsha @MormonNational Eh a handful being paid a modest stipend because they dedicate their lives to testifying of Jesus Christ isnt a big deal. Please define cult, it seems your hate for us makes you more of a cultist than us living the Gospel of Christ.

@gerbermichael21 @MormonNational It was sourced. Typical cult reaction. It's true. Your leaders are paid. The bigger deal is the fact that the church is completely false, but you can crash out where you please.

Of course this doesn't include sitting on boards and working as executives for any of the churches business's. Based on leaked documents and analysis of church finances, top leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints receive a "living allowance" or stipend, but the specific $300k figure is often quoted as high-end estimates including perks, or as a total equivalent compensation, rather than a base cash salary. [1] Compensation Structure & Amounts Base Allowance: A 2014 leaked document showed a "base living allowance" for General Authorities was raised to $120,000 per year. Total Compensation & Perks: When including perks such as free housing (or housing allowance), health insurance, a vehicle, and a per-child allowance, analysts and observers have estimated the total compensation to be roughly $259,000 to over $300,000 in total equivalent value. Annual Increases: These payments have historically increased, with some reports suggesting they rise by roughly 3.1% annually. Scope: These payments apply to the top-tier leadership, including the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and the First Presidency, who leave their professional careers to serve full-time. [2, 3, 4, 5, 6] Church Position The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints generally does not disclose the specific amounts of these allowances, but a spokesman previously confirmed that general authorities receive a "living allowance" to allow them to focus on church service. The church asserts that these funds do not come from the tithing (10% donations) of members, but rather from the proceeds of the Church's investment portfolio. Local leaders, such as Bishops and Stake Presidents, do not receive these payments and are unpaid. [3, 7, 8] The "modest living allowance" is not a salary in the traditional corporate sense but serves as a taxable, fixed stipend for top, full-time leadership. Not relevant. The 300k per executive salary given to its top brass plus 1m slush fund doesn't come out of tithing. On top of that, what is defined as charity is overwhelming outreach to continue to enrich coffers. Even after that the money given to hindu and muslim charities is such an obscenity it invalidates mormonism as a christian institution. Suicidal woke empathy masquerading as a religious institution. Absolute obscenity. Pfizer, Moderna, Monsanto, Haliburton... this whore will turn a dollar wherever she can.

@surskitmaxxing @SaltySisB Many report going through similar hard ships and receiving more assistance from the Church. Maybe when miracles like that happen, people think of them as a sacred and dont plaster it on the internet. You just sound jaded frankly.

@SaltySisB Maybe you have a generous bishop. Many people report going through similar hardships and getting minimal assistance from the church. Your case sounds exceptional, frankly. Also, none of that requires a $300 billion church.

This corporate greed helped put food on my table for a year. This corporate greed paid my rent for months. This corporate greed paid my utility bills when we couldn’t. This corporate greed saved my family from complete financial ruin when my husband got sick.

Absolute insanity. An expert filmmaker exposes how the Mormon Church is hoarding a staggering 350 billion dollars and buying up massive amounts of American land while still demanding money from its followers. The religious corporate greed is terrifying.

@surskitmaxxing @SaltySisB It requires huge infrastructure. Where do you get thousands of tons of food? Farms, processing plants, storage facilities, transport capabilities, distribution centers, administrators for all of it. Thats not even counting the land used for churches and temples.

@gerbermichael21 @ExMosPostingLs LOL. I’m not upset or offended, def didn’t take anything personally. I very calmly used a bit of light sarcastic mockery to point out the ridiculousness of your position, to illustrate that it usually isn’t a good way to reach people. Which your response has proved.

I want to begin this analysis by saying I support what President Oaks is saying here that members of the Church should be honorable and respectful in how we interact with others, especially with our foes. With that being said, the ProgMos are misinterpreting this to mean that President Oaks is only counter-signaling the hated Orange Man or his voters, which not reflecting on how this might apply to themselves. ProgMos interpret words like “democracy”, or “fairness” radically different from how most conservative members in the United States interpret these words. They think this is a signal that President Oaks is “one of the group” who code-switches meanings. This is clearly untrue based on many of President Oaks’ past comments he made as a lawyer and Utah Supreme Court Justice. I know President Oaks is being sincere about wanting more civility in our nation and among the members of the Church and isn’t playing some weird cynical game some ProgMos think he’s doing. That is the type of behavior that makes it impossible to build bridges with our neighbors and ward members.

@gerbermichael21 @ExMosPostingLs Sure. Specific interactions w/ an individual w/ whom you have a personal relationship is the same thing as generalized mockery, public shaming, & needling provocation of strangers who don’t see things your way. Totally the same thing, and definitely works with most people.
