@MormonNational @ScottEnlow This would be the case if they overbooked the hotel. In this case, he was apparently belligerent with the staff and they can refuse service by refunding the money. If he thinks otherwise, he can contact the Attorney General’s office or sue in small claims court.

This person is the manager of Homewood Suites By Hilton in Mobile Alabama. He sent a family away with sick child because he can "refuse service to anyone". Even when they have a reservation and prepaid. Completely unacceptable. Please repost this for exposure. Accountability time

These kinds of stories make it seem like FSD solves the problem of people who shouldn’t be driving. It doesn’t. It’s supervised FSD and people still need to have intact driving capacity.

@mormons_speak You should see the growth outside of Utah. We’ve had to create three new wards in my stake alone. Orlando and the panhandle are growing even faster. Have heard multiple stories of other states like this as well.

In Salt Lake County, many wards and stakes are closing. This graphic shows the decline in members, which is requiring many wards and stakes to be closed or merged with neighboring ones.

@mormons_speak First of all, it’s missing ward openings I have personal knowledge of.
Second, this is fully expected as more population enters the state in fully built out areas while native Utahns push further out into the suburbs.

I'm going to again pitch the idea thatt Rowling's wizarding world has SO MANY INTERESTING PLACES TO SET STORIES. WE DON'T NEED HOGWARTS.
Look - imagine a series set in Durmstrang, an school in which the headmaster literally was a Death Eater and was murdered for betraying the cult. The adventures would be fabulous. Also bear in mind that they need to be constantly bedeviled and enchanted by the wicked witches of Beauxbatons.
I know in the books Durmstrang & Beauxbatons aren't all-boy or all-girl but it could make the series super interesting particularly because all the school dances and festivals they'd have to mix, and the general separation would lead to the teenagers being even more socially clumsy than the idiots at Hogwarts which would be hilarious.
