Today I had a very constructive meeting with former President Jacob Zuma in Durban. We discussed issues such as the value of mother tongue education, the promotion of mutual recognition and respect between cultural communities, agricultural development in traditional communities, and Section 235 of the South African Constitution. More meetings will follow. As a civil society organisation @afriforum remains outside of party politics. We are working for the next generation rather than the next election. In securing a better future for the next generation, we are committed to engaging with all stakeholders in South Africa, even though we may differ on certain issues. We are committed to helping find solutions to the challenges the country and all its people face.

Natref makes a significant portion of our jet fuel. Oil went up by 50% but the jet fuel price has increased by 250%. Just like during covid someone is profiteering unscrupulously and will continue to do so until people start asking questions.

@CaptSpringbok Well said. There is also no attempt to stop the try. This is purely to hurt the player.

Sorry mate, you’re wrong on the ‘ball in play’ point. Yes, the try isn’t scored until it’s grounded, but that doesn’t make the contact legal. He’s already airborne and in a vulnerable position, and there’s no attempt to wrap, you can’t just drop onto him like that. By the time that contact happens the try is effectively scored, so calling it a ‘tackle’ doesn’t fly. Under World Rugby laws: late contact + no arms on a diving player = foul play and a yellow card!

This is INSANE!! This guy defended his girlfriend from a Somali who was trying to sexually assault her. The Somali stabbed him, and he tried to defend himself, ending up in the hospital. Scottish justice pursued him with assault charges and convicted him, ruining his criminal record, while the Somali was free and didn’t even show up. They’re bringing savage animals with animal instincts into civilized societies. This is unsustainable.
