More and more of my time is spent disagreeing with systems and jumping through the same hoops over and over. This feels like the future to me. Anyone else?

I am in the middle of fights with 2 different automated systems. With one, I am being forced to trade hours of my time for money. The system is operating with bad input and there are no humans empowered to correct the data.

With the other, it's more of a bureaucratic hedge maze. Hours of my time are being consumed filling out redundant paperwork. Each round is followed by a new batch of forms. It's been 5 weeks as of today. I can't imagine there are many others with the patience I have exercised.

I guess this where I go to yell into the void?

She made me coffee. She put on my favorite show and snuggled with me on the couch. She spent the day baking with me. She helped to quickly clean our mess so she could get to a book and some quiet coloring in her room. I’m a lucky dad.
