A Gold Coast coroner’s court just heard evidence today that NDIS fraudster Marcia De Menezes presided over the death of a severely autistic 16 year old child who ultimately jumped to his death from a sixth floor apartment building. The child had no phone, no access to the outside world, no ability to contact his mother. They knew he was suicidal so they boarded up the windows of the apartment building but they didn’t think to move him out of a 6th floor apartment. The NDIS did not approve his accomodation. He was trafficked against his will and ultimately took his own life due to the terrible neglect he suffered. Everything they are forced to pay to employ has a tax attached to it , Just to employ 1 person it costs a business 2 times the employee wage to cover insurances/ workers comp, payroll tax and the list goes on , not to mention the ridiculous permits gov load on business’ just to operate …. You obviously have never run your own business or had anything to do with someone who has …. If trusts pool asssets together to protect it as whole they’ve worked their asses off to get to that stage …. And before u start smashing me as trust holder I’m not and far from it but I am a sole trader who couldn’t afford staff not because of the staff costs but because of all the gov regulation costs that go with having them …. Walk in the shoes of these people who employ millions of Aussies before u start screaming they aren’t paying their fair share ….

I personally own assets affected by cgt changes but I still support the governments changes First im not greedy selfish fuck looking for government subsidies to help my investments. Changes are for the betterment of all, not the few. When you make a system fairer all, the system pays you back.

Is it fairer tho? You’re just paying more tax and there’s no evidence these extra taxes will get distributed to the people that would benefit from them most. Govt spending has increased under labour which is contributing to inflation and continues to put pressure on interest rates. It does nothing to rebalance the property market, increase supply of houses or reduce demand
