"Dress suitably in short skirts and strong boots, leave your jewels in the bank and buy a revolver."✊🇮🇪 My hero is the wonderful english born protestant woman Constance Markievicz. It's nearly Easter & the uneducated seem confused by why I proudly wear a Cumman na mBan pin. They took part in the Easter Rising, socialists, members of the trade union & suffragettes.

Today, for the first time in centuries, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem was prevented from celebrating Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, having been stopped and turned away by Israeli Police.

🚨 🔔 “Members of the Defence Forces and the Gardaí would be situated at garage forecourts to check workers ID” “Although Ireland is not yet in the territory of fuel rationing, a contingency plan will be stress tested in the coming weeks” “The main concerns are around diesel and jet fuel .. the overall medium term outlook is serious and could deteriorate quickly” “Conversations have begun at the centre of government about introducing new demand management measures, following in the footsteps of countries that have introduced fuel saving measures such as public holidays, mandatory work-from-home rules, fuel rationing and industrial shutdowns.”

Jimmy Carr just dropped a radical rethink of taxes, education, and national wealth: - No tax for anyone under 30 → let young people keep every penny they earn and actually start their lives. - University should be free… but only for STEM fields that grow society (not a luxury item for 50% of kids). - Over 60? No tax either — stop pretending we can pay endless pensions with fewer young workers. - Sovereign wealth fund from UK oil, gas, wind farms, and mobile masts — assets that should belong to everyone, not just the Crown. On AI and the future: We need flexibility of thought. Old ideologies won’t cut it when everything changes. Why does everything have to come from taxing workers? Why not undercut Ireland on corporation tax, mine Bitcoin with idle power stations, or treat national resources as shared wealth? Do you think no-tax zones for the young and old + free STEM education could actually work? Or is this too radical for a country stuck in old thinking? Your take 👇

Britain has become a circus. Pride flags, trans flags, Hezbollah flags. ISIS flags. Hamas flags. All at once.
